I am sure these questions have been asked a million times, :confused3
and I should not have waited until 7 hours before, but
I am wondering, online check in is at Midnight (eastern time)
correct on the day you can check in?

This is our 1st Disney Cruise! :woohoo:

Also will I be able to book my port adventures after I have
checked in or is there a different time for that?

Do I need to have anything special when I sit down at my
computer to begin this process, besides my reservation number?

I have been waiting for this day, and thought I had it all together
but I guess I was wrong! :worried:

Thank you to anyone who can help me with this.

You need to keep two different times in mind. Online checkin opens at 3am eastern. Port adventures, spa and adult dining (Palo and Remy) all open at midnight. If you want to get that low boarding number, Palo brunch or popular excursions it will be a late night.

As for steps for online checkin, it has seven different pages. You will need your Passports, your flight info, pre and post cruise hotels, your credit card info for your onboard account, and what time you will arrive at the terminal. Remember the time you select for arrival at the terminal is tied to your boarding group number. So if you plan on getting to the terminal before 11:30am, select the first available arrival time to get the lowest possible boarding number.

Oh no! No passport it's being renewed, does that mean I can't choose a port arrival time until its back?

Also I am currently using four different computers for four different cabins to book excursions, there has got to be an easier way right??

Five hours to go, and I'm now thinking these things!!:rotfl2:

When you get to the page for passport info, just enter other ID (birth certificate) You can go back and edit the info anytime. But you do need to fill inSOMETHING in order to get to the subsequent pages for checkin.

When I checked in our two rooms, I just did them one right after the other.

Stacey I think you can use one computer and link the rooms for your excursions, at least that is what the Disney Cruise Line guest services told me today.
But than again, she also told me I had to do online check in 1st and than
book my excursions, and I have learned that is not true.
Maybe someone can help us with that. popcorn::

This is my first Disney cruise but when I checked in I had to do two reservations so I was trying to hurry so I just put birthcertificates said we were driving and using cash and I had to work that morning so I checked in at 7 when I got up. I had no problems got a 11 o'clock arrival time and then went back in later and edited everything

I just called, they answered I think they will be open another 1/2 hour. They told me earlier they are there till 8pm est.
But this time she told me that I can check in online and do my excursions at 12:01am, that I do not have to wait till 3am
Never can get the same answer twice :(

You'll find that when you call and speak to a CM on the phone at DCL, they generally will give you a different answer each time you call. Most of them are only reading from a chart to answer questions, and have no actual experience with being on the ships. Many times it's their interpretation of what they THINK is the right answer.

In reality, you can book excursions/adult dining/spa/nursery hours at midnight eastern. Online checkin opens at 3:00 am.

:thanks:

Well that is exactly what I was thinking.
I was only hoping maybe she was right, of
course from what everyone says, I can almost
bet she was wrong!! :headache:

But it will be ok, I will just stay up all night!
But at least I will be prepared next time and I will
not have to ask all these questions and look like I
do not know what I am doing.

Next time you'll be Silver Castaway Cay status, which means you can check-in at 90 days before your cruise!
