View Full Version : Just bought and leaving for OKW in 6 days!

Wanted to take a moment a thank everyone here at the DIS/DVC board - we just made down payment for VWL with an add on at VB. Did everything over the phone with a great guide (Judy). We are leaving next week for 5 days in a 1BR at OKW, followed by 2 days at Ocean View Inn Studio in VB. If not for all the great info here at the DIS we would not have been able to make our decision long distance. May 19 is our 10th Anniversary, and DVC is our Anniversary gift to ourselves :) :sunny:

Happy Anniversary! You just gave yourselves a terrific present....that will be good for your 50th Anniversary as well. :earsgirl:

Your very welcome....I know you really meant me and just put "everyone" in there to make everyone else feel better.

Like the vast majority of owners, your only regret will be not buying sooner. Have fun!!!

A great gift !;) After staying with us on the Millennium weekend, our friends bought an OKW resale for Christmas this past year.

Leaving in 5 days, and already planning next trip - VWL in December (and maybe OKW in Sept). Our friends are already starting to ask how it all works.

Richyams - yes, a special thank you (even though we violated the #1 rule, we wanted OKW as home resort, but bought VWL due to OKW sell out - we are watching for the right OKW resale to add on in the future. Otherwise, not really interested in BWV, but BCV is a different story.)

Congrats we will be arriving on Saturday for 9 days at OKW. It's our 25th Anniversary.

Welcome Home. We also bought into DVC (OKW) last year for our 11th Anniversary. That's a pretty hard anniversary present to beat....maybe add on's from here on in.....

Welcome Home. I think that DVC is the ideal anniversary present. We purchased an OKW resale in 1999 so that we would have enough points to take a cruise on our 15th anniversary. Have a great time at OKW and Happy Anniversary!

Welcome Home and Happy Aniversary, we will be spending our 4th aniversary June 6th at Disney, my husband said are we doing anything special that day I said is was our special somethins is the villians dinner at 1900 park fair with the kids, he smiled. I told him for our 5th we will do either CFG or V&A's then he was happy. Enjoy your trip
