C'mon make me envious! ;)
John and I are having a simple Thanksgiving and enjoying being able to spend a day off together! LOL It's also our anniversary. I told him I still wanted to make Thanksgiving dinner BUT he owes me an anniversary dinner ;)
So.....here's what's cookin'
Turkey Breast
gravy
Cornbread and Sausage stuffing
greenbean casserole
maple butternut squash puree
fresh dinner rolls (I cheated and bought them) ;)
Garlic smashed potatoes

I am cooking for just the 2 of us this year so:
turkey breast
homemade mashed potatos
fresh green beans
cranberry sauce
rise and bake yeast rolls
(yes....no stuffing...I don't like it and he did not want me to cook it for just him);)
homemade cinnamon rolls
cheesecake
plus.....potato salad for the leftovers !!!

A tiny 9.5 pound Turkey, a 4 pound Beef Roast, Mashed Pot (instant). Stuffing(stove top). Fresh Asparagus, Squash, Sweet Pot casserole, Cole slaw, and 3 PIES!:o Just found out....I am having 3 extra People for dinner!:eek: Hope its enough!:rolleyes:

My mom's gravy-she is the gravy maven!
pumpkin bread, ginger molasses bread with maple butter, and Challah (my kids insist I make this for every holiday)
For dessert:
apple pie
cheesecake with cherries
triple chocolate cake -made with white, milk, and bittersweet chocolate
lots of wine:)
And everyone else cleaned since I did all the cooking!!!!

I knew I forgot a few things.

The turkey is really good. The Recipe I use is from Food and Wine magazine. (I tried to get you the link, but I'm having trouble with their website right now) This is about the fourth time I've done this recipe and it's always come out really well.
