Hi All

if anybody is thinking of going to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this year please go and support this...

This is a play about my DH dad, Mal Evans, who was the Beatles roadie and friend. The chap that is doing this play has very limited funds and I thought I would just help spread the word. We are going to see it for the first time in a one off performance at the Cavern Club in Liverpool in July. Its about time that DH dad got some recognition for all he did.

Thanks fellow Diser's:)

Gosh Vanda, I just read the story behind the play, how tragic, he was a massive part of The Beatles story, I would see this in a heartbeat if I lived closer, I hope its a massive success:goodvibes

Thank you...yes I hope it does well too as the man that has put this together has worked hard on it and its self funded. We have tried for many years to get his story out there and have a writer in LA that is now doing a book based on very detailed diaries kept by Mal. You have to be VERY VERY careful with what is published as Sir Macca does like to sue at the drop of a pin...:sad2: Would love to get the real Paul Mccartney story out there and not the PA version of it:rolleyes1

Next time you are in Orlando if you pop into the Hard Rock at Universal there is a letter from John Lennon to DH's dad on the wall..It was really strange because that place is HUGE and they sat us at that very table!! DH then mentioned it to the server and she told the man in charge and they let us have our meal on the house...said we could order whatever we wanted. We ordered 2 vege burgers and fries and a coke each!:rotfl: Didn't like to take advantage..! They then took us on a private tour of the John Lennon Room upstairs..it was a fab day. They were wonderful to us.:)
