My 6 y.o. DS got a certificate yesterday completing the first part of a reading program and he can read 20 words! This is truly a blessing as he is working so hard and considering that he only learned to write his name last year! And to top it off he swam all by himself last night at his swim class (I think there was magic in the GF pool two weeks ago!) Considering how we felt four years ago when he received his diagnosis (PDD-NOS) this will really be a Thanksgiving.

Congratulations.. all your hard work with your kids will eventually pay off.. It is nice to get a grand reward such as this as your ds is accomplishing things!!
