I love that dumb Sharpie commercial when the guy goes up to the plumber or electrician or whatever he is and see's the name "Bob" written on his underwear. When he calls him by that name, the plumber gives him a weird look and says "My name's Dave." I don't know why, but it just cracks me up.

What other commercials that you would call dumb, make you laugh?

There was the BEST commercial on a few months back....I still love it! It was for KFC or Burger King or something like that promoting their new chicken sandwich - and that they needed more chicken. Here comes a rooster strutting thru a hen house to the tune of "I'm just a love machine...." - I just love it - too funny!

I vote for the verizon one with the sick monkey! It reminds me of sending my husband to the store. My kids and I tell him that this is something he would do. That monkey sure is cute!!!

Last week during West Wing, they aired a Visa Check Card commercial with Charlie Sheen and Martin Sheen!! Cleverly placed and oh so cute!!! I love it!!! :)

also the Insurance commercial with the sock puppet dog that used to be the spokesman for a pet store.com ... SO funny... that puppet with the watch holding him on to the hand....

KimRaye, I love that one of Martin Sheen and his son! Too funny!

Another one I thought was great (yeah, it was kind of stupid in a corny sort of way!) was the one with Enrique Iglesias singing one of his love songs. They show all these pretty girls and then they show this black guy. Enrique puts his hand out to him and the black guy has this really panicked look on his face. Then the camera pans to the Doritos bag the guy is holding, which is what Enrique is reaching for.

I just crack up when I see the guy's expression when he thinks Enrique wants him!

Okay, just THINKING about this commercial cracks me up!! The Sprint PCS commercial that features Sigfreid & Roy in a convenience store. LOL I especially love the part when one of them (I have to confess, I don't know who is who in that duo!) says "Do you haf any gummi bears?" and the clerk says "Whatever's on the shelf, chief." LOL My kids love to ask me "Do you haf any gummi bears?" because they know it will crack me up!!

I loved the visa commercial with the Sheen's too (it was visa, right?)

For some reason, I ALWAYS laugh at the Target commercial with the dancing bald guy in boxers. It's so stupid, but it makes me laugh! :teeth:

I love the Hallmark commercial about getting old where two friends are walking together and one gives the other a card about growing old together...punch line the cards says you go first!!!

I have a girlfriend that gave me a card like that and we did the same thing! I told her she was older than dirt and the comments went down hill from there!

There is a radio commercial that cracks me up. It's one of the Bud Light "Real Men of Genius" commercials.

This one is the salute to "Mr Tiny Thong Bikini Wearer"

I die when they talk about a giant wooly mammoth in a rubber band - and when they say something about squeezing a size 46 waist in a size 30 suit and a woman in the background singing "tight tight tighty tight"

You have to hear it - Bud Light doesn't have it available on MP3 yet but here is another funny one.. hope you can hear it :)

I like the TV commercial with "the monkey with a cold". It's some type of cell phone commercial. That little monkey is so hilarious, with the kleenexes!:cool:

These commercials were a couple years ago but I loved them. They were for Ameritrade (i think), this guy is looking at his stocks online and he notices they aren't do well so he screams and throws himself out of his window. He lives in a house and goes out the ground floor window so he looks up and his neighbor is looking at him like he's a dope. The other commercial is a boy just won the basketball championship and his dad and coach run up to him all excited. A talent scout wants him to play pro and the kid refuses and yells "I want to dance!!!" and starts to prance around. LOL LOL

I also love the underwear dancing guy and Staples Christmas jingle commercial.

I have taken to simian spots over recent years. I like the sick monkey, and I like the credit card commercial where the guy wonders who is getting rich off his credit card interest. Then you see a chimp with a cigar on the phone and Ian Dury's "Monkey Man" song in the background.

Oh yes, I remembered another one. How about Fergie, reading that fairy tale to the little girl (about marrying a prince and living happily ever after), and then saying, "But, if that doesn't work out, you'll need to know about pe ratios, dividends and 401ks." Very good commercial.

Its a beer commercial, I forget which brand. A guy digs a tunnel through his wall to his next door neighbor's refrigerator. Girl opens the fridge and sees the guy grabbing the beer out of the back of the fridge. she starts to scream and scream at seeing the guy in the fridge. She shuts the door . Guy goes away with the beer. The girl's boyfriend opens the fridge to see what she was screaming at. There's no guy, but the beer is gone, and he starts to scream because the beer is missing! Funny!

There's a Red Stripe beer radio ad that cracked me up the other day... something about him having to have a Jamaican stick fight... I'd have to hear it again to remember.

I am not sure if you have this one in the states but it is for a foot powder or something like that...

A guy gets home from a hard day on his feet at work and sits on the couch. He takes off his shoes and socks and puts his foot up on his knee while rubbing it an sighing...all of a sudden his own foot kicks him in the face...LOL very funny.. I am laughing as I am typing this..

I like the commercial for Southwest Airlines. Ive only seen it during Bruins games, but its hysterical. Theres a "typical" crazy hockey fan in the stands at a game and hes yelling and heckling a certain player(if it were real it would totally cause a scene at a game). But he goes on and on and then the game announcer says they have special guests in the audience tonight Mr & Mrs, whatever, the parents of so and so...and its the guy who is being heckled. A couple stands up in front of the heckler and the heckler looks up at the jumbotron. Theres the parents of this guy, right in front of him. Then the commercial voice says "Want to get away?":)

The geico squirrels are a favorite around here, but I LOVE the WDW cruise one with the mother, little girl and baby brother "souvenier" in the elevator!

The Disney Cruise commerical with the little 'souvenir', the sick monkey, the SHEEN's and the high five squirrels are definitely my favorites... but one other comes to mind - a car commercial where the mom and little girl (maybe 11 yo) are discussing how she got her name and her mom tells her they picked that name because that's where she was conceived.... then the little girl says I understand that but where did my sister's name come from.... and it's the model of the car.... All of a sudden it hits the little girl.... and she goes .... "OH..... GROSS!!!!"
