Im hoping my fellow DIS members can help me with my question. I ordered 7 day park hoppers for dh and myself through airmiles. I still need to purchase 2 kid 7 day park hoppers but can only find 6 day hoppers through the disney site. Am i able to add on an extra day once i get there? I also read on the boards tonight that Disney wont be offering the 6 day hoppers anymore so Im thinking I'd better order soon!

...can order through flight centre.ca they just email you a PDF that you bring to the gate and you exchange for a ticket.

This is where I got mine last time and they have up to 8 days.

Adult price: $234taxes & fees included
Child price: $215taxes & fees included
(3-9yrs)

I called Disney last night because we have the same issue. We are going from dec 23- jan 2 and needed an extra park day on jan 1. 7 total days. They said to buy the 6 day and then we could another day for around $15 or less at the ticket both when we got there. Must use the ticket before dec 31 for the first time and then it is good for 13 days. So you can use it in January.

Just a heads up, if you want to buy a 6 day pass, you must do so today, as of tomorrow they will no longer be sold and all you will be able to do is buy a 5 day pass and possibly add one day to it. Also, there are price increases as of tomorrow.

Thanks everyone for your responses! I was holding out buying our tickets this early thinking that they may come up with some special summer promotion like they did a few years ago when we got 5 days for the price of 3. I'm thinking with CarsLand opening this summer, that's not going to happen and I'd better buy my 6 day hopper before even that disappears!

Thanks for the info! Making a call to Disney was on my to do list this morning but you saved me a call!

cmwade77-I will definately be buying my 6 day hoppers today!

Yep, I just went in to my local FC office two hours ago and got the same quote for the 8-day PH. In fact, that office thinks FC and their ticket wholesaler already purchased all their 2012 tickets, so they don't expect any increases this year.

Meanwhile, my highly inexperienced-with-Disneyland (as vs. WDW) CAA office says they can't even sell me a 6-day PH today and can only get 5-day PH at the new full price of $290 for adults.

So, I think I'm still in the waiting game for our Oct-Nov trip, since FC should stay the same and CAA might get some kind of deal later in the year if I decide that the preferred seating and MMTTMM is worth paying more.

I am a fellow Canadian as well, and I have to say that Flight Center has always been a good friend of mine come time to buy hopper passes. They have up to 8 days which is fantasmical, and I find that the prices generally stay the same. They never change. However I have found that they have gone up a bit in price. I generally get an 8 day pass and that sits about $219 but now it's gone up to $234.

But if I remember correctly, if you purchase your park hopper passes and you want to upgrade your ticket when you are at Disneyland park, you can go to guest relations and upgrade each ticket and add on additional days for only $5.00 per day.

Both FC and AMA (AAA) as well. With tickets being non refundable we wanted to wait closer to our September trip to buy , but our hands felt a little forced yesterday.

So I called FC they felt their prices were contracted, but never the less the quote is in my file, I. Will monitor the next few weeks and decide.

AAA, does not carry the 8 day In store but they order them through Sun Fun. They placed a courtesy hold for one week on them, at the quoted price which was virtually the same as Flight Centre. They told me that the diamond savings card was only available a) if I bought hotel too and b) on five day hoppers and under a they ordered the larger hoppers through fun sun not AAA.

I need to fine tooth the expiration policies on the two, at first glance it appears the flight centre is longer.

8 day was confirmed at FC at
Adult price: $234taxes & fees included
Child price: $215taxes & fees included
(3-9yrs)

AMA( fun sun ) was within $1 for adults and $5 for kids

My agency also sells the 8 day park hoppers for $233/adult and $215 per child, no package or hotel necessary to buy. This is virtually with any company that deals with Fun Sun or Holiday House (same company now, all owned by Thomas Cook).

argh. teach me for not reading thoroughly here first!! I read my mousesavers email today and paniced, went to the travel company they recommend Ares travel and called and purchased a 6 day hopper for our daugher, we only need one as we have our passes, for $246. with the thought we would just get the 2 extra days at the park when we get there (we need an 8 day ticket) of course this will be in US dollars and with the conversion right now that will cost me an extra $3-4. and then my credit card will ding me 2% for paying in US funds so that's an extra $5. so $255 plus an extra $10 for the extra 2 days when we get there providing they are still doing it for that price....When I could have phoned Flight Center here in Canada and gotten an 8 day ticket for $234. total. $30. I could have spent in the park. It's really frustrating that all these agencies charge such different prices!!
