Just a proud Mama sharing a great moment. My son is 7 years old and has Aspergers. His second grade class had to do a notable person presentation and he chose Walt Disney. He worked so hard on his paper and his poster and was so nervous about speaking in front of all the parents. He did AMAZING!!! Walt would have been proud.

Here are a few pictures of my little man's big moment...

OMGoodness! How adorable! DS7 has to do a short presentation at school tomorrow about something he is an expert on. He picked Disney World. :rotfl:

At our school they do this in 3rd grade...the Famous American report. 5 minutes memorized with incorporated props and quotes! WD is always one of the first people chosen (no duplicates allowed), amongst both boys and girls. Neither of mine were able to pick him, but he was on the top of both of their lists.

He looked great! Congratulations!

I do what I can. Enjoy your surprise Father/Son trip. We are surprising the kids with a trip to DL in September. I can't wait for Ethan to see Walt's apartment. :)

Thanks!
I'm SOOOO hoping it works out for us...I want to take him to Universal for the new stuff there, but if the Minion's ride isn't open, I'll hafta reschedule. That's the main thing he wants to see there, besides the new Universal parade and Jedi Mickey at DHS Star Wars Thingie. :crazy2:

Someday, we're gonna make it to CA too...too many theme parks, soo little time. ;)

Ethan and I have been reading Harry Potter and in November we have a big family trip to WDW planned. We are going to do a day at Universal so Ethan can experience Hogsmeade. He is beyond excited for that!!! I haven't even told him he can get his own wand yet!
