View Full Version : Discovery Cove/Dophin swim ticket question

I was just checking the price of the tickets for Discovery Cove and noticed I would have to pay an additional $50 for all 4 parks DC, SW, Aquatica, BG, during our visit next April. :surfweb:
$259 for the DC/dolphin swim + $59 for the Sea venture + $50 for the other parks = $368 per person, does that sound right? :teacher: :scared1:

That sounds right.
I am guessing that you *want* access to the extra parks during your visit, and that you know you don't have to add them on if you don't want to. You get 14 days free admission to one park of your choice (Seaworld, Aquatica or Busch Gardens) with the purchase of your DC day. The other two parks can be added on for the $50 extra if you choose (but isn't mandatory).
Your dolphin swim day is pricey....must be because it falls during spring break? We paid $199 pp for DC on New Years Day. Funny, but I would have thought New Years would be equally as expensive as spring break....but what do I know? ;)
It does add up when you start adding all the extras on. But IMHO, its oh-so-worth-it. We are huge fans of DC (returning for a second time this year on August 29th ) and SeaWorld is fantastic. We are trying out Aquatica for the first time in August as well. As for Busch Gardens....well, we'll have to plan another trip for that park :) .

Now I have to decide if it's worth the extra $250 per person ($750) for the one day at Discovery Cove with the Dolphin swim and Sea Venture. :teacher:
