As you may know, I recently returned from a week in Italy (Venice, Florence and Rome). This trip was on my own and not done with any tour company, although we did do some day tours.

I'd like to share some of my photos with you. I hope you enjoy them.

The Disney Store had very few unique items to Italy. One of these was "Gladiator Donald." I bought one and he showed me around his old haunts ...

Great pictures Mike! What a gorgeous, gorgeous view from the top of the Campanille. The Gladiator Donald pics are too funny. :laughing:

Those sure brought back some wonderful memories for me. Thanks so much for sharing. When I was in Venice in late 2010, the Bridge of Sighs was covered with tarps. It looks beautiful and you captured it so well.

Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful pictures. I'm starting to research for my own trip to Italy, and your pictures made me even more excited to visit all of these places.

The pictures of the disney bags, are they in the Disney store? I would like to know if you can purchase those from there store and if they ship? I love Dopey and I never have seen a Dopey bag. Thanks.

I'd have to check my photos, but the train was pretty fast at some points.

The Disney bags in those photos were NOT in the Disney store. They were at a souvenir shop we passed along the way, but I'd also seen outdoor vendors selling them in their kiosks. I was really upset by the lack of special merchandise at the Italian Disney Stores - just like I'm upset at items US Disney Stores sells.

italy has to be one of the nicest places on the planet to visit!!!!!

to give you an idea of how long ago i was last there, david was the original back then, not a copy... :)
and the pieta wasn't in a box!

how was the new airbus?
i think it would be scary to be in SUCH a big plane!!
how did it fly? smooth?
is that their first class section? I'm surprised they didn't put suites in, but rather those old fashionedish chairs.....those have been around for a while, and really aren't up to first class standards....unless that isn't the first class section...
