Hoping to visit DL/DCA on the 24th (its been a while).

We will be getting the AP and visiting both parks. How would you deal with visiting both parks in 1 day with an infant, toddler, preschooler?

Must haves are fantasyland, jungle cruise, soarin, bugs land, disney junior, and WoC. We'd like to get the above done without having to be totally rushed.

Any input would be much appreciated!:thumbsup2

Since you are getting APs, I am assuming you will be returning, right? So if you don't get everything done, or need to change the schedule, you can always return and do those things you missed. :)

You will be there on a Magic Morning day, but there is nothing you can really do about that. Just be aware that there will be people in the parks an hour before you can enter. I would still head to Fantasyland first, since it is a priority. Hopefully since it is a Thursday, lines won't be too bad. But I would be at the turnstiles early.

After Fantasyland, I would do Jungle Cruise and then whatever else you wanted to do in DL.

Hop to DCA and grab WOC FPs and either ride Soarin or FP it. Figure out what time you want to do Disney Jr. and work the other rides around that.

Take a break in the middle of the day if possible, leave the parks during the busiest part of the day (mid afternoon). Come back and use your FPs and enjoy any attractions missed. Line up early for WOC (have you read the superthread on that?) and enjoy! :goodvibes

I've been a looky lou for a while and read about it then forgot about it. So I'll take a look like you suggested. Although if there is a way to know WoC do's/don'ts in 5 sentences or less that you know of...that would be great!

Thank you!

ArchOwl has a great plan for the parks...
Here is the WOC Cliff's Notes:
Obtain WOC Fast Pass - You do this by either getting free FP at GRR in DCA (blue or yellow section), pre-order picnic meal (order online - you get blue or yellow FP when you pick up meal) or dine at Ariel's Grotto or WCT for dinner for WOC preferred dining (green/preferred dining section).
To get a good spot in the blue/yellow section, you want to line up 60-90 minutes before the show begins in order to stake out a good spot.
For the preferred dining section, you don't need to line up as early...45-30 minutes.

Read the WOC Superthread to get an idea where you would want to watch the show. There is a lot of overwhelming information there, but once you digest it, it is very informatiove.
