...where I live! :)

We have about 5" of snow, and are supposed to receive another 5, before it stops. Not exactly enough to warrant getting out my snow busting Sorel boots (I love wearing them!), but our first real snowfall of the season.

It's heavy snow, and everything looks so beautiful, like a thick frosting of marzipan.

One problem though, we didn't get our cedar hedge tied and burlapped, and the bushes are heavily bowed.

Did anyone else get any snow? :)

NO, thank goodness!

We've had 2 days of wind and rain, though.....

Did you hear of any Abominable Snowman sightings?????

Invite him to Discon.....that'll get his attention!

LOL...once every few years, we'll get a few inches of REAL snow. For the most part is the wet annoying stuff that freezes the roads over.

I bet it's lovely, Snowwark....:D

We got just a light dusting here in Woodstock, Kim. A couple of weeks ago we got the same type of snowfall you got today and boy, what a shock to see everything white! I admit it did look pretty, but thankfully it only lasted a day or so before it was gone.

No Yeti yet Gina, or Bigfoot or Sasquatch either! ;)

I'd love to take a pic Amid, but my digital camera software is on the fritz (for the second time!! grrr..)! It better be fixed by the time I get home from DisCon!

Julie, it's supposed get a bit milder in the next few days, so it won't be around for long. :)

Olena, we never seem to get the snow at the right time, which of course is Christmas Eve!! :)

I'm sure it's quite pretty, and I would prefer to look at it in picture form for the time.

While I'm not a winter person, I do like to see new fallen snow, but not until Christmas.

Hey I still have lots of yard work to do. For some reason I cannot seem to get it finished this year.

I'm sure it will be there waiting for me in the spring.

Enjoy your snow!

I hate winter and I hate snow. DB says I should take up skiing and I would change my mind about snow but I think not. Never liked it, never will.

Snow should be limited to the two weeks around Christmas and New Years and then only fall on the grass and woods, leaving streets and sidewalks clear! That's what I believe, and one day it just may come true!
:p

I couldn't agree with you more, Tulirose!

It reached a balmy 53F today, so the marshmallow world now looks more like just a marsh. ;)

You never know Tulirose! lol :)
