At Gabrielle's Mass tonight, that is! Me, Bradley, and DH were each able to carry something. Bradley carried a cup with communion wafers as did DH and I carried the two cups of wine. And I didn't spill a drop! *whew* :) DH also had to carry Selena as she wouldn't sit in the pew while we went up, so he did a good job carrying both her and the cup. LOL!!

Today is exactly 3 months since we lost her. :(

((((HUGS)))) I know how hard that must have been for you. I was always nervous too when the priest asked our family to do the offering.

I know for me, the mass brought a sense of peace. It didn't eliminate the pain, just kind of a turning point.

God bless all of you!! And congrats on not tripping! We had our Elizabeth Mass (celebrating all of the lost children of the parish) last Thursday. Even 12 years later it is so hard for me to attend that Mass. I AM so glad that the church is acknowledging our losses, and I am so grateful for the network of women in my parish. I hope that you have the same loving support in yours- it really, really helps.
