I am stressing today about how much extra to plan for on our upcoming 7 day, as I intend to put it all on my debit card and I want to make sure there's enough $$ in my account.
Tips: $250 (at recommended amount)
Pictures (I know I am a sucker for them!): $200
Wine package: $265 (if we do the premium)
Souvenirs: $200
Hair Braiding for DD: $50
Banana boat ride: $42
Palos Cover & Tips for Brunch & Dinner: $70
Other beverages, etc: $50 (Beyond wine, we don't really drink alcohol, nor do we drink much soda.)
Excursion (non-DCL): $180
Cabs, etc...: $75
What, if anything, am I missing??

An amount of around $1500 for a family of four is a good average.
You might want to just buy wine by the glass instead of the package.
They really push it but we just bought by the glass. That way you get
the wine you want to drink instead of their choices.. Gary

Any excursions? We spent about 400.00 on our excursions in St.Marteen and St. Thomas. Otherwise, your budget looks just right for a 7 day.

Nope, no excursions except for one we booked on our own in GC. We decided that this was going to be a relaxing vacation, so we didn't want the stress of plans, etc... We're just going to play most days be ear.

just came back from 4 day wonder, second time on boat. each time we averaged about $200. per day family of 4, the kids don't spend much on boat, $5.00 per day, per child on soda, maybe $20. over the 4 days on game room.older son went on excursion in Nassau $25.00. the adults are the guilty party when it comes to spending the cash. drinks($30.-$40. per day, about 3 each), excursions, although this trip we didn't take any. We did the wine package, 4 bottles about $125.I wouldn't do the wine again, had to push ourselves to drink it,wound up takeing a bottle home with us.These expendatures could be a lot lower, but on vacation I don't worry about it. I think if you budget $150-$200. per day you will be fine, and not miss anything.
