I may need to move out of the Swan, or "party central," to a cheap offsite hotel during DIS Con. The $25 Rodeway Inn deal sounds very tempting. Plus, with the holidays, money is tight. Unless we want to pass around a jar at DIS Con, I may need to go the cheap!

I'm sorry to hear about that, Barry. I checked on mousesavers to see if I could find any info that might help you out, and here's what I found. Hope this helps! And I'm really looking forward to meeting you!

There is a code for $55 at All Star Music and All Star Sports

There is a code for FL residents for $49 for the same resorts

Hopefully one of these might work for you, that way you can still be onsite. :)

Poor Barry, you'll be in good company if you stay offsite though. Disney didn't have any rooms for the day I arrive so I'm offiste too. I got Wyndham Palace for 55.00 a night so I'm happy. :) I'd stay there over the All Stars anyday!

Well the upside is, my hotel room won't be next to yours so you can't flush the toilet all night like you were threatening me with.

Gee, Barry, if you can get an on-site rate that's almost as good as off-site, I'd say go for the on-site. Good luck. :)

I've been thinking...maybe I ought to stay onsite. If we are going to stay up late nights as some have threatened, it may be worth the extra $ to have a room to crawl back to.

You'd only have to pay for a taxi otherwise - so yes that is a good justification for yourself and aren't you spending less time now because of your exam so you're saving money there as well.

Hope all the above helps you to justify your spending ;)

Actually, I will have a car, so a taxi isn't an issue. :)

But if you choose to do any drinking we'll not allow you to drive it, because we are such good friends, we watch out for our buddies! :)

Hope you choose to stay onsite
