View Full Version : Poll: What size screen resolution do you use?

I always used 800X600, but then I downloaded a program where I had to change the resolution to 1024X768. It seems very strange to me (and small print!).

I took a look at my site and the pictures that I had sized to fit my 800X600 resolution look so small on 1024X768, so I was wondering if I should change them. I'd like to please the greatest number of people, so if most of you use 1024X768, I'd be happy to adjust the pictures. That's why the poll. :)

mine's 1152*864, but i'm thinking of switching to 1280*1024. :D

This is embarrassing to admit but I don't know the answer to this question. How do I find out?

Kath, you need to click on "Start" and then "Control Panel". Then click on "Display" and click on the "Advanced" tab. That should show your screen resolution.

i usually use 800x600, but sometimes i use 1024x768 for certain programs i run.

800 x 600 though I often have to change it when loading software for my son's educational games:D ........

It's better for gaming and it's not so small that I have to squint when I am doing other things....like this :D

There is an icon in my task bar for some reason and all I have to do is hover over it to get the resolution.

Looks like most of you have a lot higher resolution than I do...
