MGM Parade, Thurs. 12/5, 2:30*UPDATED 11/25*

UPDATE: Majority rules that the stairs to the Old Theatre is the Best viewing area (I think I know where that is). Please meet in that general area and, make yourself known!! I'm expecting you!!! ;) For those of you going to 50's after the parade, just let Dave know, he's got a handle on us possible-late-arrivals. ;)

ALSO, please keep signing up if you haven't already! Rah-Rah, Whoo-Hoo!!

I'll be leaving WWTBAM early, if I have to, to arrive here so, look for a short, heavy-set 'MOM' with an Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular t-shirt on, (At least I'm thinking I should wear this one that day!;)), AND Announce yourself!! :)

I think we will be somewhere in MGM that day so put Joe and I on the list. I saw a little of this parade last year it is really neat with the cars and all.

As far as I know, I am doing the parade. Where and when? I just follow the crowd, but looking for good camera angles. :teeth:

We watched the parade from in front of Star Tours in Sept and we had a great view of all of it and its not that far from 50's Prime Time.

So far, all but 2 of those who responded are NEW people interested!!! That's just great!!! I know a few others are planning on meeting us so, I'll wait to 'hear' from them also! ;)

I saw a couple former MGM parades (Aladdin & Toy Story, I believe) in an area that circled around us (somewhere in front of the Now Sorcerer's Hat) which would be great but, only if roped off just for us! :cool:

I watched (and videotaped) the parade last year from in front of "The Hat". I was not overly impressed, but then again, I don't really care for the parades.

I think it's the parade master of ceremonies that I like least about this parade. He has such an annoying Hollywood voice. But I guess that is all part of the ambience. Who knows. I might be there just to be with you folks.

As I'm directionally challenged---please ---please---directions to the meeting spot. Theatre steps----OK just send me a map-----I'll be leaving ghe WWTBAM early also so maybe I can follow you. But keep an eye on me I've been known to get lost.
