On November 13, 1977, the comic strip ''Li'l Abner'' by Al Capp appeared in newspapers for the last time.

On November 13, 1982, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial was dedicated in Washington.

On November 13, 1998, President Clinton agreed to pay Paula Jones $850,000, ending the four-year legal battle over her sexual harassment lawsuit that spurred impeachment proceedings against him. Clinton did not admit guilt or apologize.

On November 13, 2001, Bishop Wilton Gregory was elected the first black president of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops.

On November 13, 1940, the Walt Disney animated movie ''Fantasia'' had its world premiere in New York.

And lightened his wallet a bit too. Of course, we all know what she did with that money-- got herself a nose job, that she later had to protect from Tonya Harding's left hook:rolleyes: :rolleyes:

Too bad Clinton didn't seem to learn anything from his mistakes (or mis-deeds) . . .

Fantasia, my all time favorite Disney movie.

I think the Vietnam Memorial was one of the most moving experiences I've ever had.
