You can book what is called a Fantasmic dinner package through the reservations system. It entitles you to a meal at one of (used to be) three restaurants (used to be Mama Melrose's, Hollywood & vine, or the Brown Derby). You pay for your meals and are given preferred seating for the Fantasmic show on that evening. You will have a special entry point for the performance which will mean you do not have to wait in long lines to get into the show.

It has been several years since we did the package but we had dinner at Hollywood & Vine and paid no more than the menu prices so the "package" didn't cost anything extra. It is worth it to book ahead of time if you are anxious to see the show. We would do it again but alas ... we are the only two people on the face of the Earth who did not like Fantasmic! :rotfl2:

So its included with the price of your meal?RIght? no other $$? And is priority seating good seating?

Yes and Yes. The seats are on the right side of the amphitheater and were not nearly as crowded as the other sections. We had comfortable seats with a good view of the show. The only cost (other than dinner) that might be incurred would be for cancelling after the "deadline" which they will explain when you book. You will need to give them a credit card number to hold ther reservation ... we had no problems with this procedure. Enjoy the show!

Yes Fantasmic seating is included with the price of the package for the meal. Indeed the meal includes an appetizer, an entree and a dessert and you order off of the regular menu. It is a fixed price for the Fantasmic package. If you are on the DDP, this is actually more (appetizer) than if you were not doing the package.
The seating is the right hand third of the theatre. If you are late and at the very end of seating you will be way to the right. But if you go at a reasonable time, they are pretty good seats.
The one caveat, the times of the meals are usually in the middle of the afternoon. You have very little choice of times. The package times are usually the less busy hours for meals.
Have a Great Time
