We are considering staying at two different DVC properties and have never done it before. Does Disney offer transportation options to move our luggage to the second resort? Would love to hear from people who have done this before.

We do it every trip. We just call bell services when we are ready to leave and tell them were we are transferring to and how many pieces of luggage we have. Then when we get to the new resort we call bell services and let them know we would like our luggage. It does take a while for it to get to the new resort, so you will be without your luggage for a while. We also tip when they pick up and when they deliver the luggage. :goodvibes

Yes...this is not a problem, as tazleiten12 said, all you need to do is call bell service. We've also transfered items such as a case of water, refillable cups and even perishable items. As long as they are bagged.

We did this during our last trip. As stayed, Bell Services wil take and transport your luggage to the Bell Services of the second resort. They will NOT deliver it to your room like ME does. You do need to call down and be preent in your room for them to deliver it. Or you can pick it up directly.

Be aware that if you are using the dining plan, that you would have two seperate plans. For our trip, we needed to get to our second resort in the morning to check in because we had no dining credits left on our first stay.

In all seriousness, though, we've done this on almost every one of our DVC vacations. There's never been a problem. Bell services picks it up from the room at the first resort (tip the guy/gal), call when we're in the room at the new resort and they bring it up (tip that guy/gal, too).
