Alarm clock & Hair dryer in room?

Hi,

My family and I will be cruising in another few weeks. I'm starting to prepare a packing list. Are there alarm clocks and hair dryers in all the staterooms?

we have always been in either a cat 5 or six and there has been a hairdryer on the wall in the bathroom, as for an alarm clock you can get a wakeup call

We had a clock in the room, which was available for purchase, but I'm not sure if it was an alarm clock. It drove me crazy because the back kept falling out and falling over. There is a hair dryer which I found great for drying nail polish but nothing else. Bring a small light up clock if you like to see what time it is at night and a hair dryer if you like to style your hair.

We found the hair dryers in the room to work just fine for drying hair but I dont recall seeing any clocks in the room...

There was not alarm clock in any of our rooms either - however the phone was very easy to use to set a wake up call from Mickey.

There's also a timer on the TV so that it can wake you up in the morning. Our scared the daylights out of us the first morning of our May, 2001 cruise! I thought I was dreaming...I heard our local 7 AM newscast (ABC out of New York) and they were reporting a tornado which had struck in a town only a few miles from home. What a way to wake up! After that episode I checked the remote control on the TV and found out how to set it for whatever time I wanted.

If you need a hairdryer to actually style your hair bring your own! Depending on the type of cord on your dryer(mine is big and has a reset button on it) you may need to throw in an extension cord. The outlets on the desk are right at desk level and I would plug my dryer directly in.
