Anyone had experience with the new Winn Dixie grocery store( I understand from other DVC members on this site that Winn Dixie is now open)?
Prices reasonable? Selection? Access from WDW properties?
Can someone provide directions?

Is it better (easy,better prices,selection) to stop at Publix/Wla-Mart on the trip in from the airport?

We shopped at the new Winn-Dixie when we stayed at OKW in May, it was very close. From Downtown Disney, take Hotel Resorts Blvd. At the light, make a left (Crossroads is straight ahead). It's about a mile down the road on the right, just past a liquor store. We signed up for a shopper card when we walked in and were able to get some stuff on sale. We found everything we needed. It was much cleaner & closer than the Super Walmart we used to go to on 192. We're staying at BWV next month, I think we may try the new Publix at the Premium Outlet Mall, that will be a little closer to BWV plus we can stop at the Character Premier store (Disney Outlet).

I was there on Friday! I thought it was great. Very clean, big, good selection and decent prices. Darn, I don't think I saved my receipt or I could give you some examples. But we found everything we wanted/needed.

Was there in mid-October. Very nice. Close to DD...just out that gate and to the left. People were nice. All in all, a good choice.
