Hi ALL! I have sailed DCL before, but i know they have (or had tried to) change the rules for bringing alcohol on-board. My question is, did they change the rules for soft sided coolers? The dimensions specifically. What size soft sided cooler can be brought on-board & how much alcohol (just what can fit in the cooler???) :confused3 Hopefully some recent cruisers can shed some light on this for me & the family :-) :thumbsup2
Thanks so much in advance for any and all repsonses!!! :)

Carryon bags must fit through the scanners. DCL site quotes 22X14X9 inches as the max size. You may bring onboard as many beverages (alcohol, soda, water) as you wish. You can have as many carryons as you feel you can handle until the rooms are ready. Beverages must be inside a carryon.

Exactly - the bag must fit through the scanner, which is about the dimensions of an airport scanner. Currently you can fill that bag up with as much booze as it will hold and as long as it fits through the scanner and you are willing to carry it until your stateroom is ready, you can bring it onboard. You can also bring as many carryon bags aboard as you can handle; remember you probably won't get to your stateroom right away and the earlier you board, the longer you'll have to lug around your carryons.

the 9" must be how wide not how deep - i'm guessing it's all on how you lay it down......I get it....Thanks :-)
