Was just in the car on the way back from the video store, when my senior prom song came on. "Time For Me To Fly" by REO Speedwagon!:D I graduated in '84. What was your prom song?

My Prom didn't have its own theme song. The actual theming of the Prom was something corny like Mardi Gras (or was that Homecoming?) Anyway it wasn't anything incredibly special.

I think our senior year was "Knights in White Satin" our theme was A Night in Camelot. I honestly don't remember our jr. year song. Pretty sad too since I was on the committee.;) I think the theme was A Night in NY or something like that. Hey it was the 80's.. I just remember my hair being very BIG!

A little out of date but, for my senior prom in 1989 it was Best of Times by Styxx.

Although I'm pretty sure I voted for "Heaven" by Bryan Adams . . .

"Almost Paradise" (how could you ask for more...) 1984
Lesson learned: do not let stupid jocks work on the prom committee or live goldfish in the stream under the bridge will be belly up by grand march time...

I believe Jr. Prom was Heaven by Bryan Adams (1984) and Sr. Prom I think was Take a Look at Me Now by Phil Collins (1985). It was so long ago, I would have to look it up to be sure, but I think that is what it was.

Our was The Beatles "The Long and Winding Road". Beautiful song, just a bit out of our era. I could never understand why we didn't have Stairway to Heaven or Free Bird or some such.
I graduated in 1981.
R&P's mom, I had friends who went to Blair. Slightly younger than you though. What a small world.

1991 - One Moment In Time was our graduation song. I don't remember having a prom song. A lot of us wanted our grad song to be It's the End of the World as We Know It by REM, but the principal thought it was a big joke and wouldn't allow it on the ballot. He hated our class.

My proms were in 1973 and 1974....Don't remember exactly, but I'm almost positive that one of them was "Color my World" by Chicago.

"Up Where We Belong" - what a horrible song, and a horrible prom too. I usually block the whole thing out. ;)
In June of 1974, it was Stairway to Heaven for me. :teeth:
