COMPLETED Disney Toppers & Tags Swap- SLIDE SHOW POST #216

Hello everyone....

this is an interest thread for Disney Toppers & Tags...and will be for sign-ups also which will be on Friday February 24 at 6am PST and open until Feb 27 at 6pm pst.... they will be due to me on April 30th.

You will make a topper along with a tag that coordinates that is double matted and embellished. You can use Cricut letters, computer font, rub-ons, stickers....NO handwriting please!

Guidelines for the topper/title standard 8x2 topper and matted once (other sizes are okay), welded and shadowed letters, letters on squares, circles,mini tags or other shapes, a large title tag, title on a box, borders, photo mat, altered CD.

Guidelines for the tag 1 large tag—needs to be at lease 2x3, 2 layers, something in the hole and embellished.

Due date is April 30th that is when I need to have your package! other check in dates will be listed below...

Pick your group and post what your title will say

Please limit yourself to 2 groups when signing up if I have not swapped with you before, or not in good standing with previous swaps!

Required: You will make ONE Topper and ONE Tag for each group you are in

Packaging Instructions:
Place your completed elements in a Ziploc bag with your DIS name, name and group number. Place all your baggies for a group in a GALLON size bag, and label with the same. Please use a gallon bag – even if your pieces are smaller and may not require it, the pieces you will be getting back may be bigger.

Please include cash, check or stamps (No Click-it/ship-it postage). Please include enough to cover the postage and Delivery Confirmation if you wish it for the correct size flat rate box or envelope...remember postage prices have increased!

PM me with your name, address, email address, contact phone number- even if you have swapped with me before. If you have problems and need to drop out or if an emergency happens (we all know things happen beyond our control sometimes), let me know so we can make arrangements for an angel or other help if needed.

Most importantly HAVE FUN!! I know we all get worried about our stuff sometimes. I know everything will be GREAT! Just make something you would be proud to have in your own albums, and everyone will love it!!

Suggestions for embellishments include:
Die cuts, stickers, stickles, flock, ink, chalk, brads, charms, flowers, eyelets, ribbon/fiber, sewing, tearing, embossing, stamping, clipart, additional layers of paper beyond double mats (if it would look weird trying to fit in another embellishment, specialty paper (such as embossed, glitter, Bling).

Note: Please no handwritten items.

Remember you will be picking your group and stating what your title will say so there are no duplicates....have fun with your sayings!!!

I might be in for characters - the trouble with most of the others is I'm going to DLRP and not all the lands/rides are duplicated (or are in french!)

Sometimes a topper and tag is enough, especially for a single page.

I love love love Feel the Magic!! I agree...more general titles would be better for fitting more people :thumbsup2 Will you still do characters and princesses? I like the topper and tag, but if you open it to other options, that will be fine, too. I guess we could still do tags as that element, right? Excited!!!!!!

I like the general titles, too; although, I'd still like the character and princesses groups. I'd prefer the title and tags, but will be fine with whatever you decide. I'm glad the due isn't until April. I'm going to have to finish up a couple of swaps before I'll be ready to start this one.

I'm just being nosey and checking out all the fantastic work here but was thinking....what about slippers or some type of pjs or something on the tag? When I googled "Disney welcome home"(I'm a google nerd) a few pins came up with the fab 5 relaxing//sleeping/baking.....

Group #10 (resorts) the mickey head is handmade paper so its supposed to represent the towel animals left on the beds....I couldn't figure out how to make it a tag though so included some ribbon in case you want to add it!

Still stuck on general... I was thinking maybe "Nutty" and using the chipmunks with it?

Maillady took it today!! Thanks again for hosting and putting up with my hiccups here in the end! Sorry I didn't get on here sooner...Logan has had a fever for the past 2 days and I've been taking care of him and running to Dr's. Crazy...goes down to 99 or 100 then back to 103 or even as high as 103.7. Been alternating Motrin and Tylenol...ugh...hoping the meds from the Dr. kick it!

Sorry I haven't around but we welcomed our 4th daughter on April and within a week I was back to the hospital with a uterus infection and my internet has been down for about that long as our provider decided to pull the plug in our area. Will be back soon... I hope!

The little princess is doing well. She is getting so big so fast. She was born at 7lbs 8oz and is already 9 lbs 8 and a really good sleeper. all she does is eat and sleep.
