DH said he'd like to (and of course y'all know I'd like to as well) meet up with some DIS friends for the afternoon on Saturday in Disneyland if anyone is interested. That's for Saturday, the 16th.
Anyone interested? :)

I will be on call that weekend..... that is usually not a good sign.

And you can't be "on call" while in the park, right? :(

I might be able to make it. (If you want to hang out with a teenager all afternoon...:o :) )

We're still not sure of our plans that weekend, but I'm bumping this for you for the other locals! :)

It depends on how many patients the practice has in the hospital that wekend which I won't know until the weekend actually arrives.
I found that I don't enjoy myself at Disneyland, because I am worried that some emergency might come up.

Rajah,
There's a chance that the rascals & I can make it. :) I still need to find out what's going on, but pencil us in.

Great! So we've got Carrie, MJ, and her Rascals as possibilities, and Michelle and TLK as not likely but slim chance?
How does 1pm sound to everyone? And where? If Rod's playing at the piano, I was thinking we could try to meet at Coke Corner and that way those waiting can be entertained by Rod (I admit it, I'm a Rod and Alan groupie ;) ). But that might also be crowded since it's a popular meeting spot.
Another possibility I was thinking of was at the River Belle Terrace at the outdoor seating overlooking Tom Sawyer's Island. But I don't know if we'd all have to buy something to sit there?
Or maybe somewhere in Tomorrowland since there's so little over there now -- my *guess* is that would be less crowded since there's not as much to do in Tomorrowland as any other land, but I'm obviously not the local who can tell crowd patterns. ;)
Unless I forget it, I'm planning to take and wear my Tigger Safari Hat, at least for that day.
Or, there's also not much back by Small World, right? Not much of a place to sit down over there, but that might not be too crowded and might make it easier to find each other.
Or that old motorboats launching area near what is/was the Small World character meet and greet?
There's also always upstairs in the Disney Gallery in that courtyard behind the gallary. Few enough people know of that that maybe we'd have a chance of finding each other, but there's not much in the way of seating (any??), is there?

1PM sounds fine. Coke Corner can be crowded during that time of day, since it is the lunch hour. I don't have any major opinion about where we meet, but the old motorboat area near Small World usually isn't too crowded. But anywhere is fine with me. :)

Can everyone find the old motorboat area? It's right next to the Small World meet&greet, right? Last time I was there (which was 3 years ago  ) there were tables to sit at, too.
Isn't it right behind/across from/to the side of one of those Fantasyland shop booths like the toy one right near the exit of Small World? I seem to remember it being near a chalet gift booth?
