We will be going to Disney next July, does anybody have any suggestions on a rental car. There will be 7 off us, my wife, my self
, my inlaws, and our 7year old triplet daughters. What should we get for a rental car, and how do we make sure we get one that is big enough for us and our luggage? I hear people getting there thinking they are getting a grand caravan and there not being one. A rental car is a must for us. The first 4 days we will be at the Triplet Connection Convention in downtown Orlando. We will be spending 6 days after that at the Contemporay. Does anybody have any advice on just getting the rental car for the 4 days or are the rates such that it would be better to rent it for the whole time we are there. We are new to this rental car thing and would appreciate and addvice. Also these rates I find on the towncar services (ie:you ride...ect.) are they for the whole party or per person?

Thanks TripletDad

I would go with a minivan myself. The weekly rate is usually better than a 4 day rate. As for luggage, that could be an issue depending upon how much you have.

Have you thought about 2 cars? I am not a mini van expert, but 7 seems crowded. (My friend has 6 in one this weekend and I think it should be an adventure!)

Actually, what I am doing this month is the following. For 6 of us, we will be staying for 14 nights so there will be a lot of luggage. I rented a minivan which will comfortably transport us during our stay. Instead of a second car for the 2 week period, I am having Happy Limo pick up my family at the airport and bring them back on departure day. I will drive the minivan with luggage and the familly will go in the limo. Overall, less expensive than two vehicles and the family gets a treat!
