Frustrated that even after losing 25 pounds I am in the same size clothing! Heck -- they don't even seem loose on me. I have a way to go --- but hoping the next 10 or so will make a little bit of a difference.

You lost the weight just by dieting? You ahve to work out in order to start losing inches and noticing a change. here's my stats
March - 151 lbs.
June - 141 lbs
Dieting and walking 4-4.5 mph everyday at least 30 mins.
July - 130
Now - 125 :) Lost 3 inches in waist 3 in hips and 1.5 in my thighs... :) Almost there...
5 more to go... :)

that is great that you have lost so much weight! Good for you - But a bummer about the clothes - Same thing happened to me after my baby - But I started lifting weights and that is when I started dropping in sizes -
Keep motivated - Don't get discouraged! You are doing great!

Don't give up hope! You can do it! It sounds like you are well on your way.
preshi is right, however. Exercising will definitely help in seeing the inches go, too. It will help tighten all areas up. Everything in moderation and in time, you will see your end results!
Good luck! :)
And, preshi, my goodness! How tall are you? 120 lbs. is awfully thin (well for my height it would be, 5' 6"), but bravo to all that you have lost!!

Congrats!
Keep going!:D :D :D
I agree with preshi--you do need to do some kind of exercise. You can just start out walking--it will make a difference.

Congrats on a great start, Wovenwonder. Please don't be discouraged by the clothes not being looser yet. You'll get there!
Adding exercise can seem like a difficult task but it really will help. Try walking for even 10 minutes a day, adding 5 minutes every few days. Build up the time slowly and it won't seem so monumental. You want to walk for a certain number of minutes and not a certain distance. As you keep exercising, the distance will be accomplished in less and less time. . .while you really want to be ADDING exercise time as you go.

Yipeee WovenWonder! 25 lbs is excellent!
I'm doing Weight Watchers- the first week. I
began walking 20 minutes today. Are you drinking
lots of water? it helps shed the "bloat" and
really changes the body shape too. If you are
on a high proteing diet-protein helps build muscle
which takes up some space as well. I've lost 10
pounds and can really feel it-I'm in the same weight
range as you started out. You've got to feel 25 in
some way.
Keep up the good work!

I have a terrible time trying to diet. I ended up going to a personal trainer 3 days a week because I'm basically lazy and wouldn't do it on my own. Started last February. Haven't really dieted other than cutting out the worst of the junk food and eating smaller portions. Doing a combination of cardio workout's and weight training.
I'm 5'7"
February 164
June 155
August 150
November 144
Lost 4" on hips & waist
2" on thighs
1.5" on arms
My target weight is 135 and I should make it before the end of the year - if I can convince my DH NOT to bring home junk food (I have no willpower)!
Wovenwonder - I think that's great that you can lose that weight just by dieting! Keep working on it - maybe just by adding some walking or other excersize it will help speed things up for you! Good Job!
