The menu for the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue indicates that you can drink unlimited amounts of beer. Does anyone know if this is true for the Polynesian Luau as well?

(Not that we plan to get loaded at either of these shows, but having unlimited beer would certainly make it worth the $49.01)

Thanks!

Yep. . .it used to be Mai Tais too at the Luau, but I thought they stopped that a year or so ago--maybe not--I'm sure someone else will have that up-to-date information.

HDD & the Luau costs do include beer, wine (sangria I think at HDD), in unlimited quantities. You're right, with the cost of Mickey beers, you do need to take that into account if you enjoy a cocktail or two with your dinner. ;)

HDD serves your first beer in a Ball canning jar-like glass. You can then ask for a pitcher which they will happily bring and refill.

The last time we went to the Luau, we drank Mai Tais (it's been several years) and the server just kept bringing them, and briging them, and bringing them--he told us to drink up, the ice melted too fast!

We booked a pkg that includes meals. It say it does not include alcohol. If it a choice of unlimited drinks like at the luau or Hdd will it be included in the as part of our pkg? ( We booked dreammaker gold if that helps anyone understand this better)

dansyr...we've done the Deluxe Magic package a number of times. At the Luau and HdD our drinks were always included.

We haven't done the Luau for several years but all I remember is the MaiTais. Tess' info is more up to date than mine.

Keep in mind that the unlimited beer at HDD is nothing other than Bud Light....

That's right Uncleromulus.........we went last year to HDD and were pretty disappointed when they served pitchers of Bud Light. Icck!!!

Now had it been Sam Adams......that would have been another story.

Yeah, we did the Luau, and they did promise unlimited Mai Tais. We ended up having only one, as we never saw the server again to order another. Perhaps that is how they keep the alcohol consumptiion to a minimum?!
