View Full Version : I finally got them in the ground.

I recently bought a plethora of spring bulbs. I'd never planted any before. I finally planted them all yesterday. A grand total of 172 bulbs and tender hands to boot. Can I say WHEW?

42 daffodils
76 allium
10 tulips
20 Dutch iris
24 hyacinth

If everything grows well, I should have lots of lovely pics to share this spring....:D

I can't wait till spring to see how they do...I have been known to still be planting bulbs while the turkey is cooking! Oh and I still have a few bags to plant.

Can't wait to see the pics...
I have yet to get my bulbs..I wait til they are dirt cheap & on clearance...:o

From 0 to 172 bulbs!! :eek: Wow Olena, way to go!! :) I'm sure they'll look beautiful.

Shep, I have mine, but, they're not all in the ground yet! Ssssh....don't tell anyone, okay? :)

Holy Smokes!!!!

I bet those bulbs will produce a spectacular display of colors in the spring. :) That is so cool!!! Good work, Olena! Mmm, I love the smell of hyacinth!

A beautiful day and weekend forecast! :) The next few days could see the garden finally put to rest for the winter, including the bulbs that are still waiting!! :)
