I was checking fare on Spirit's website, and noticed they had Spirit Coach and Spirit Plus fares. Can someone tell me what the difference is?? Did they buy new fleets with first class or something?? If it is all the same type of seating, why would one want to pay outrageous fares when they can pay the regular fares??
Thanx

Hi Jules! You can click on a link on Spirit's site and it explains the PLUS thing. Basically, you are in leather seats with more leg room and I think the booze is free. I also think it is a REFUNDABLE ticket. We fly Spirit every trip to WDW and have never had a problem. They are a no-frills carrier. They do not have a new fleet of jets, but they are growing quantity-wise. They now have more seating and gates at Metro and they are a lot closer to the check-in counter than where they were before. You had to walk all the way down the concourse to get to their gates. Now they are really close. If you get a good fare, I would try them. I sure would not pay the extra $$ for the plus, though. Have fun!
