MAJOR discount at Disney store!

OMG, LOL! This is just too good to be true!

I was surfing the web earlier and I came across a discount code for the Disney store website. The code is "HOLIDAY" and it entitles you to $15 off your entire order regardless the amount you spend. So I went to the site and I saw that "Toy Story" "Toy Story 2" and "A Bug's Life" DVDs were on sale for $14.99. So, curiously, I added "A Bug's Life" to my cart and applied the discount to my order. Lo and Behold, my order total was $0.00!!!!!! All I had to pay for was the shipping!

So, I ordered the DVD and wondered if the code was only a one shot deal. I went back to the disney store site and found a "Merry Christmas" Mickey Ornament and pin set for $18.50. I added it to my cart and applied the discount again. It worked! $3.50 (besides shiping) was all i payed for an ornament and pin set!!

The best part of this whole deal? Last time I visited my Disney store at the mall, I got a $10 gift card free with my purchase. I used that to pay the shipping costs for the ornament and pin. Viola! $33.49 worth of stuff and all I payed was the $6 and change to ship the DVD! Wo0o Ho0o0!

I tried one larger order, with free shipping, but No Go.
So I did two separate ordes.
I bought one pair of pants. With shipping/tax they came to $8.85!
I bought the Cover Art Pin Series Set #1 for $14.47 (with shipping/tax)!

I used the HOLIDAY code when I ordered. I see the e-mail confirmation reads, "Your coupon code is: SNOWFLAKE"

The snowflake code is a coupon for your next order. I just ordered a couple of pins for just shipping, and that was in my confirmation email. :)

Boy, I was excited to make a purchase or two from the DS online and save $$$. However, the site is not recognizing the
"HOLIDAY" code. I tried typing it in all lower case (holiday), in all UPPER CASE (HOLIDAY) and even a combination of the two (Holiday)...but no go. Any suggestions? $15.00 is a nice savings!

According to a post on the Community Board, the code has apparently been disabled.

I'm not too surprised. With everyone ordering one thing to get the $15 discount and get a 'free' item, they probably caught on very quickly.

Did the folks that used the code see they did not honor it if you did not have the card to verify that it was sent to you for your use? I'm glad I only ordered one thing.
