To recognize each others

Some of you are discussing on this board since many years.
Some of you never seen each others.
Some of you want to be met by others members of this board.
Is it a good suggestion for those who want to meet other members of this board to use these sticky yellow papers to identify your "board name" on the door of the room when in home?

The wearing of a lime green ribbon while out and about is the way many of us find each other while "Home". :bounce:

Many of us also plan "meets" in a common place either at a Resort, DD or in one of the Parks. These often work out well and are a safe alternative for those of us who may not want to announce where exactly we are staying.

Mine is a Large Lime Green Ribbon for my hair. I have my Screenname embroidered into the bow. I am hard to miss. Just ask DVCNuts.

Yes, I agree with lime green ribbons idea. Some of you probably know Princess Angel (Laura) who posts here all the time--well, while DH and I were on our honeymoon last Sept, we were sitting on the monorail to EPCOT and I looked over at some woman sitting there with her DH. I noticed her pooh bag had a green ribbon on it, so I said "Are you from the DIS?" and she said "Yes, I am princess angel, who are you?" and I started jumping up and down like a nut, telling her "I am prncssjas"!! People on the monorail probably thought we were idiots (LOL!) but it was great because we had been chatting in the DIS for months beforehand and being able to meet face to face was terrific!!! I think the ribbons really do work if you remember to put them on! ;)

It's very cool when you actually go down there to see people wearing the ribbons and I do think a lot of people do so keep your eyes peeled!!

I waited too long to find lime ribbon for my March trip. It is not easy to find.

I agree, lime green ribbon is very hard to find. I found it easier to get a hold of lime green package wrapping ribbon (ya know, the kind you put around gifts and can curl up). That's what I used on my last trip. But I didn't run into any other lime green ribbons at WDW.

We met 2 "dis" members on our last trip. I wore a lime green ribbon on my fanny pack (worn in front) and MUCH to my surprise I had 2 people speak. It was definately one of the highlights of my trip. It's almost like sighting a hidden mickey or finding "waldo" LOL! You wonder what are the chances of meeting someone from here in ALL those people.
