If you're too young to have a ticket, you won't need a FP. Most of the FP rides I'd imagine he's not tall enough for anyway? Roger Rabbit and WOC won't have any type of requirement.

If curious, here is a link to the rides (and height requirements if you click on them) that have FP at DLR. http://disneyland.disney.go.com/plan/guest-services/fastpass/

I have a 2 yr old and since we bought our tickets separate from our hotel, he doesn't have a ticket. But I think he will have a room key from VGC. Will he need a FP for rides? If so, how do I get him one?

At WDW, even though he's "free", he still had a KTTW card, so I used those for FPs.

I don't think there are any rides with FP that a 2 year old can ride is there? Aside from Roger Rabbit?

There are 2 yr olds that are 40". DS was very close to being one of them on our WDW trip....just a hair shy.

My poor niece is almost 4 (will be 4 during our trip in 3 months) and she measures herself every day wanting to be 40" so she can ride Splash. She's about 2 inches short :( I really hope she makes it in time. I'll be so sad for her

Roger Rabbit is a really rough, rough ride, I'm not sure I would take any small child on this ride. I think a better alternative would be Moster's. with Sully.

EXACTLY. My youngest will 2 yrs, 10 months on our trip, and is more than 36" now, so I consider it possible, if not very likely, that he will be 40" on our trip in October. So, like the OP asked, has anyone dealt with the FP issue for someone who was younger than 36 months, and thus has no ticket, but WAS at least 40" tall???

Here are the DL attractions that has FP that my 2 yr, 11 month old (who was 36 inches last time i measured him, we are going to remeasure everyone this week) can do...

- Roger Rabbit
- Autopia
- Buzz

For DCA, just WoC

They won't need one. When using a FP with them, just tell the CM that the child isn't 3 yet.

Buzz doesn't have a FP anymore. The machines are being used for Star Tours.

Ok, so I guess my problem is down to Autopia and WoC.

But, I those that have 2 yr olds that are 40 inches (I really need to measure my DS soon), will have the same question...

As stated previously, no, he will not need a FP. Just tell the CM when you hand in your FP that your son is too young for a ticket.

Thanks everyone!

Thanks to you for thinking of the issue. I hadn't considered, mainly because I thought FP rides would all have height requirements my little guy would not meet.

Yes, thank you for thinking of this issue! My DS will be 2yr 8mo on our trip in May. And he was 35-36in before our trip last September. I haven't measured him lately, but he has grown so much! BTW, we took him on Roger Rabbit and it wasn't a big deal at all. I wasn't even remotely concerned about him. He sat between DH and I and was totally fine.

@iKristin, you can work with your niece on that one! A pair of high top tennis shoes and some "shoe stuffing" and she should be good to go!
