Listen up and listen good. Keep the kids fed. DO NOT under any circumstances let them get hungry. Hunger pains = parent pains. Do you read me? If your child says, I'm hungry: feed them. Keep snacks close at hand or be willing to shell out the disney dollars for a snack (not too many sweets of course). If they want a hot dog and they just ate an hour and a half ago, spend the $$ on the dog, it will save you mucho headache later.

This is my #1 tip for families with kids at WDW.

How true! Especially with my son, when he is hungry he starts to bounce off the walls! he is normally clam and well behaved but the older he gets the more I notice it. So we always have snacks with us. the best are those yogurt sticks. We freeze them. Everyone laughs at me because when ever we are going for a car ride anything close to an hour or more I have a bag with juice, snacks, milk etc....also water! I find kids too get fussy if they are thristy!

Great advice - feed 'em, water 'em and watch 'em be happy! Else, Mom and Dad are in for a nightmare.

And it never fails you will be in a line when one or more of your children will decide they are hungry. Then you are sitting ducks for the CMs that come around with sodas and snacks. We always pack a couple of snacks in their fanny packs, of their choosing, to ward off the hunger pains!

Have found that in the summer, salty cracker type snacks are NOT the best unless you have a drink nearby, but...the NO FAIL..PERFECT snack are those fruit roll-ups or fruit snack nuggut things. They are fruity, moist and don't scream I NEED A DRINK...after them! Not to mention that you can fitm 3 or 4 in a small fanny pack. Our kids carry their own! Have a great trip!
