Does each room have their own thermostat? Can you make the room temperature to your liking (warm or cold)?

there is a thermostat of sorts that controls the air conditioning in your room.

I like cold weather so I make sure it's as cold as it can be in the room then put the fan on. The only time the room gets warm is when DH or DS go out on the verandah and don't get the door closed completely. That's when I turn into Ursula!!

Speaking of cold - the refrigerators are just a cooling box - not true refrigerators (at least not in Category 6 verandah rooms) - so make good use of your ice!
