OK, Halloween is here and nearly over . . . I'm already thinking of ideas for next year.

I want to carve a pumpkin into Cindy's coach next year; think I can handle that, but what to do for mice???

I'm gonna be lookin' for a punkin' big enough to allow me to use a Barbie-sized doll for Cinderella . . . . any of you creative folks got any ideas for mice or coachmen??

Do they still sell those rubber and/or furry mice? Usually they are in the pet section of Wal-Mart, etc. I've also seen them at souvenir shops.

Not sure, Pam. Whatever I use would need to be larger than the ones I have in mind.

Preferably ones that I could "dress up"; if I could come up with something mouse-like that could even stand upright, that would be terrific!

You could make your own mice.

Glue together 2 grey pom-poms, a bigger one for the body and a smaller one for the head. Cut out 2 small circles from gray felt to make ears and a long, skinny one for the tail. Use the tiniest size black poms-poms for the nose. Cut 6-8 short pieces of fishing line for the whiskers. Get some of those little plastic "shaky" eyes (you know what I mean?) or use small black pieces of felt for their eyes.

Good luck, it sounds like it will be really cute!

There are some cute Disney mice that McD did several years ago as ornaments. Kind of hard use if you don't have them already but they would be perfect.

Hummm I think they would be too big but there are Beanie Babies that are Gus, Suzy and Jaq. Look on ebay I am convinced if you want it they have it. That sounds like a super idea!
