Does your town have set trick-or-treat hours?
In Illinois we had set hours - usually 3-7pm.
Here in FLorida they don't. The police said in the paper today that they recommend the kids be in by 9pm (there is no school tomorrow). And they would rather the kids wait for a parent to go with them instead of running around the neighborhood alone. I guess that is why we don't have certain hours.
I was just wondering how common this is. :D
HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!!!!

We don't have any set hours here - the little ones usually start around 5:30 p.m. and we shut the lights out by 9:00 p.m.

No real hours here but we plan to start out in our area around 6:00 and then go to my parents neighborhood too. Hopefully we will be home by 8:00.
I grew up never having school the day after Halloween because I went to Catholic school(Nov1 is a Holyday). I cant get used to the idea that DS has to get up and go to school tomorrow. Bummer!

The official word in Iowa City is "Dusk to dark" . . .
What the heck does THAT mean?
Since our 5 year old plans to hit "1,000,000 "houses, we may be late in getting home :) :) :) :)

Ours is 6-8pm tonight. Of course, with a 2-year old, we'll be out from about 6-6:20pm until he gives up! :):)

Ours are 6 to 8, and my kids plan to use up every minute of those 2 hours. It's going to be freezing.

No set time here. We usually start around 6:00 pm. I'm usually the one that stays home and gives out the candy.

6pm-8pm is the time for our town. My Mom's town was last Sunday 2-5.

No, we don't. Usually we get the first ones around 4-4:30, and we have them until 11-11:30 or so. I can't wait to see my yard in the morning. I'm expecting my SO's nephew and his buddies to decorate it again this year.

Our township sets the hours from 6-8.
NO set times here either, but we will be out from 5 to 7 pm. The kids don't have school tomorrow, but I do, so they will be at schoo; with me...That is always such a treat

I haven't had anyone show up the past 2 years so I only bought 1 bag of candy. :teeth: DS isn't going. We did the mall thing one year...never again. DS has school tomorrow and I don't! :teeth:
