Rose & Crown?

We've made PS for the Rose & Crown and I wondered if any of you have eaten here? What are your favourites? Good quality for the $$? Thanks for any input.

My favorites are the Cottage Pie or the Roasted Chicken with Sage Stuffing. Both are outstanding.

3 weeks ago, I had fish & chips and hubby had a seafood & chips combo. Very authentic, HUGE portions, good value. Really great servers, too.

Roasted Chicken is the BEST! I could hardly believe it. The waiter said it was all he ever ate here.

I also like the Fish and Chips, but not for dinner.

:p We ate there for our anniversary on 9/15/02 and it was great. I had the fish & chips and DW had the Prime Rib. We split it up between us and both were delicious. Being from the North Shore are near Boston i was hesitant about the fish but it was great. Make a PS for 7:30PM and ask for a patio table. Best seat in all of EPCOT for Illuminations. The CM's there are also great. We had the best night of our trip at the R&C.

Hint: If you make a PS for the patio, stop by the kiosk in the afternoon and ask if they can put you down for a patio table.

They have always been so nice to us. Since we are not meat eaters they have went out of their way to help us some choices. We have had mashed pot from the kids menu and boiled fish instead of fried. Not a large menu prices for Disney normal. We go because of their servers and how they have treated us in the past. Hope you enjoy :p :bounce: :wave: :earsboy: :earsgirl:

the Guinness is primo! My DH would agree, Joe. He's not a big beer drinker, but tried the beer sampler that R & C offers when we were there on our anniversary. He liked the Guinness the best! I would also recommend the mushroom appetizer. I can't remember what it is called, but I do remember that it was delicious!
