This year I decided to buy full size candy things instead of the smaller ones. I always give the kids 3 or 4 of the smaller ones so I figured it wouldn't be too much more expensive to buy the bigger ones. So, I went to Sam's Club & I got a 24 bag box of "crunchy M & Ms", a 30 pk. box of "Super Ropes", a 24 pk. box of "nutrageous bars" a 30 pk. box of mixed Hershey brand bars and a box of 24 Halloween themed suckers.
I hope that I have enough.

I have 3 unopened bags for back-up and about 5 partial, almost full bags. Of course I had to test the candy first - don't want any of those cute little kids to get sick, you know!!:p Weather is suppose to be 70's tomorrow but our subdivision is only about 1/2 done so I don't know how many kids I will get.

We have quite a few bags since my parents bought just about every type of candy. Only about half of what we bought is still left because my sister and I can't resist candy.

We bought about 8 bags and surprisingly we only opened them tonight!! Although I will admit most of the kids go to the "rich" part of town so we know we won't be giving out all the candy.

We bought one large bag on Sunday. This is our first Halloween in this house so not sure if we'll have any trick-or-treaters. Hopefully we won't have too many since the large bag is slowly becoming a small bag. ;)

I have individual micro-popcorn bags and Halloween Goldfish bags, to which I added all the recently opened but, uneaten chocolate to. Then I bought 4 more bags!! Geesh, please trick-or-treat at my house Thursday! It's gonna be nasty here, too. :(
I have to re-train DH on the art of giving the stuff away!! I'll be with DD!

I have 2 large bags of M & M's (about 55 pieces each) and 1 and 1/2 bags of mixed candies (about 110 pieces each).
I have to leave them outside to take DD's treat or treating (DH has to work!!) and I know that the little boy (a monster!!!) across the street with empty it all in his bag!!!!

When the weather is nice, we can have over 300 trick-or-treaters at our house. We give out Hi-C juice boxes. They are relatively inexpensive at Sam's Club and the kids seem to appreciate them. This year we bought fewer since it's supposed to be 37 degrees with a chance of snow this evening.

We bought 120 assorted full size bars from Sams. $36 is less than we spent last year, I just hope we don't get more kids than we have candy...
