Firefly is a new show on Fox. It was created by Joss Whedon (the guy who created BUffy the Vampire Slayer). Its features an interesting concept, a cross between a western and a science fiction show (the first episode featured a train robbery in which the robbers were picked up off the moving train by a low flying spaceship).
The show has not been doing well in the ratings, but I highly recommend it. (By the way, its is most certainly not for kids, it features some very unsubtle sexual scenes and covers some very adult topics).
Has anyone else been watching this show?

Never heard of it. When is it on? Hard to watch shows not for kids when you have teenagers, though.

I love this show (and John Doe is pretty good too). I really liked the last episode where the story was told out of order. Great characters and stories so far, and the captain guy is pretty hot too, which never hurts. :)

My wife and I both really enjoy it. In fact, it is one of only two shows that we record to watch (Enterprise being the other - Firefly is much better).
I think it is a well-produced show and I really like the characters. Even Jayne is really starting to grow on me; I loved him as a folk-hero!
I've also heard John Doe is very good but I haven't seen it.
I figure Firefly won't get a second season....

I've watched a couple of shows, but I'm afraid to get too attached. I always pick the ratings losers. Last weeks show was very good. I loved how they showed past, present and future all together. I don't think I have seen that done before.
