How do you cook them so that you can eat them?

Oh I love toasted pumpkin seeds!

The way I make them is to wash them well, then pat dry to absorb the liquid.

I spread them out on a cookie sheet and put a bit of oil on them. Not lots but enough to coat them so they do not stick. I sprinkle seasonings on them (usually season salt, but I did try barbeque seasoning once!)

Bake at about 250 for 1 to 2 hours. You will hear them popping when they are cl0ose to ready. Stir them every so often so they do not burn!

You soak them in salt water and then bake them on a baking sheet, but I don't know the times or temp. Try this link (http://search.allrecipes.com/SearchResults.asp?site=allrecipes&allrecipes=allrecipes&q1=pumpkin+seeds) for some recipes on allrecipes.com.

We do ours like this :

wash and pat dry. melt a stick of butter and heat oven to 300
dump seeds and butter mixture onto cookie sheet and sprinkle with salt ( to your own taste ) bake for about 1 hour.. stirring about every 15 minutes as not to burn them

they taste the best when they are hot ! Enjoy

I rinse them in a colander, taking care to get all the pumpkin pulp off. Then I spread them on a baking sheet and add a good amount of salt. I toss them around to get the salt on both sides.

I bake them at 350 until they're toasted, about 20 minutes.
