This is the second post, about our triplets. Aladdin is Benjamin’s favorite (my son with CP who uses a walker). Well, all he could talk about before the trip was how he wanted an Aladdin’s lamp (with a Genie). My wife and I did not think that they even had such a thing. Well, our first day, we were eating in Cinderella’s castle, and Aladdin was there! Benjamin was so excited, and he told Aladdin about the lamp. Aladdin was wonderful with my kids, spending some special time with Benjamin. He told us that the Genie might be able to make Benjamin’s wish come true, and that we should be on the look out for a lamp, sometime during our vacation. When we returned to the room, there was a lamp (with a Genie) (and two other Genies for the other 2 triplets), with a special note from Aladdin. What a wonderful man! You know, my kids have so much to overcome with their cerebral palsy. What a wonderful memory to make that special connection with a child, especially one with special needs.

Later, he had told us to meet him in the parade. Well, during the parade, he of course, waved to us. He then sent one of the swordsman over to say “Aladdin will meet you in City Hall after the parade.” Sure enough he was there, in a back room, where we got to spend some extra special one-on-one time with Aladdin.

Aladdin did not have to do any of this, yet he went out of his way to make this vacation priceless for our kids. We will never forget him, and this alone made this trip worthwhile.

What a wonderful story - how heartwarming! You really hit a winner with that Aladdin!!!

( You'll be buying into DVC before you know it so you can go every year.... we did after our first trip.) :D

Thank you for this story. For my DD, it was 101 Dalmation stuffed puppies. We got a couple of those over the years.

Did your boys realize that they are building a magic carpet ride in Adventureland? Once they find out, you will be making plans to go back so they can ride it.

Wow! Another cute story! Thanks for sharing. Did you write up the cast members who did such nice things? Even if you don't know exactly who the person is, if you have the date, approx. time, etc., you can let Disney know.

That is so neat!!!

The CMs at our resort, on our first visit, gave my son a little Dumbo doll when they found out he was ill, and another stuffed animal for his sister. They really do go out of their way. :)
