I got a cool fortune cookie with my lunch today. Now I am not a big beleiver in fortunes, but this one just brightened my day a bit. It read:
Your dream will come true when you least expect it
Isn't that the way with dreams?

What a good fortune! I usually get really dull or weird ones. :p

I like that fortune :) Much better sounding than "A golden egg of opportunity falls into your lap this month" that I just go. Not that I mind an opportunity falling into my lap :teeth:

I do get weird fortunes as well. The weirdest was "Beware of strange men bearing used soda straws". I never have figured that one out.

That is a neat fortune! The topic of fortune cookies reminded me of the last I opened fortune cookies with my mother. I explained to her that in order to make our fortunes more interesting, my friends and I will read our fortune out loud and add the words "in bed" to the end of the sentence. My mother then opened up her fortune cookie, read the fortune and burst out laughing. I looked at her fortune and read "You cannot satisfy everyone at once. Satisfy yourself first." I think that is one of the funniest moments my mother and I have shared in the past few months.
