Sat 4/22 stayed overnight at the Marriot Hotel at the Philadelphia Airport. DAY ONE: Got up at 4 a.m. got ready checked out at 4:45. Checked our baggage and headed over to our departure gate. Everyone was on time for the flight we were actually in the air at 6:05am the stated take off time. Arrived in Orlando 15 mins early. I waited for the luggage as DH went to the National counter for our car. Picked out a car in the intermidiate lane, a Mitsubishi Galant, nice car. Drove over to our DVC the Boardwalk checked in at 9:30 am and our room was ready. Overlooking the Boardwalk. Then we went to Mass at Mary, Queen of the Universe Shrine. Went back to the room at 12:30 and changed. Now we are going to have fun!! Went to the MK. Not really that crowded went over to Buzz first got a fastpass only an hour to wait so we decided to go get something to eat. Went over to Plaza Pavillion got chicken strips and fries. Then we took the TA Wedway people mover. Then back to Buzz. :( Hubby beat me. Then we proceded to all other rides. (we didn't do SM, SPLMt or THndrMt.) Only ride we waited for was Pooh. There were no more fastpasses available. waited for 40 min. Left the park at 7pm headed back to the BWV. Had dinner at Big River Grille.
Watched Illuminations from our table. Proceeded back to the room for the night.

Welcome home from your cousin in NJ. Glad to hear you had such a nice trip (except for the chili). Where is the church you mention attending mass at? What I noticed the most about your trip posts is that your days are very relaxed. I guess that's the benefit of going back as often as you have. You can enjoy everything even more when you know you're going back! Check out my "first time" trip report post on this board and you can see the difference when time is a factor. I didn't get to see Peter Pan or Winnie the Pooh rides like we discussed, but hope to next time! Take care cuz!:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

My husband and I love that church, Mary, Queen of the Universe Shrine, but most of the time opt for Luau Cove on a Sunday Morning, it is beautiful there too. Thanks for posting..

Sounds like a great start! What kind of view did you have from Big River Grille and Brewing Works? Was it just the fireworks??

yes, all you can see from the Boardwalk is the Fireworks
By joining the DVC we were able to have a very relaxing week, because we know we will be coming back year after year!
