Welcome to my second attempt at a trip report. My first trip report can be found here (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2488262) and if you want to read the pre trip report to this trip you can find it here (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2698298)
This was my fifth trip to Disney World.
The trip came about after a very bad start to the year left me a little anxious and sick so I needed something positive to look forward to and decided since in 2010 I'd seen Hallowe'en in Disney this year I wanted to see the Christmas decorations.
So that was why. Next was when.
I started looking at dates in April and wanted to be there when all the Christmas things would be going on in Seaworld and Universal as well as Disney World. I'm from Ireland so because the flight is so long I wanted to see everything when I could. So decided on 24th of November until the 8th of December.
The where for convience to the other non disney parks I decided to stay in the International Palms Resort on International drive but I also wanted to experience a Disney World hotel as I've never stayed in a Disney World hotel so decided to stay in Pop Century for two days before I went home.
So next up Who went...
Well first off moi. I'm 26 from Ireland and LOVE DISNEY. I have many favourite characters which include Stitch, Tigger, Eeyore, Dopey, Grumpy, Mickey, Minnie. Long list. I prefere the cuddly characters to the face characters pretty much. My fave park is Magic Kingdom and outside Disney is Seaworld. My favourite ride is small world (I am a very big kid!)
When I talked of booking the trip it was going to be me solo because momma didn't see the point in going back to same place for a fifth time. She eventually agreed to go because she didn't want me to go to Disney solo but several times threatened to pull out but she did come along. I won't reveal her age but her favourite characters are Dopey and Grumpy and her fave park is probably Magic Kingdom as well. Her favourite ride is Peter Pan.
Then I had my ever favourite trip mascot Angel along with me for the ride as well:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/IMG_0524.jpg
Momma and I are camera shy so Angel will be the only one appearing in pics here. There are pics of us on my facebook though.
And Finally for now some titles I was thinking of for this trip were:
All aboard the big white bus for Nov/Dec trip report
Should I take candy from a 5ft chipmunk?
I hope you win the lotto soon
My pants is falling off when do we get to eat?
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas? Yeah keep dreaming!
I think we cursed Epcot!
70 to Freezing in 7 hours
Please don't make me go home
A very Disney christmas
or just stick with the whole A Disney Therapy trip?!
Apart from the last two these were all things that were said at some point during the trip so will explain them as I go!
Index has moved because it was getting to long. It can now be found here. (http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=43470295&postcount=7)

There might be one or two later on in the report just not right now :) (Spoiler we had a dis meet during the trip.)
I will try post the first day soon. This week has been crazy busy trying to settle into everything again and not wanting to. Had college during the week but that wrapped up for xmas on Thursday and then on radio show we've been trying to record enough material for shows so we don't have to go into station for a while. I think we have best part of three shows done but we're doing a few more bits next week to have them done and hopefully will get more shows out of that. Went back to work today then as well and shop was really busy until about 6 when it went total opposite. We had small bursts of people but it was otherwise dead. I've been going through the pics and trying to put them on facebook while I save them all on disks and I've ordered my photopass as well. Oh and also remember in my trip report I was saying I had a cold before Florida. It went away in Florida but it's been sooooooo cold here the last few days the cold is back. Maybe I'm just allergic to Ireland and should move to Florida permantly?! :) I think monday I may sleep after that week lol but I will try get day one up asap!

So the day before we left was really busy. Had to finish last minute packing but then also wanted to spend time with the doggies who would be staying at kennels. I brought them for walkies before the kennels man arrived. One of my doggies Stitch was from the pound and he is happy enough to go with kennels man in fact he smiles (yes the dog smiles) when he sees the kennels man because he knows he's going to be walked everyday and I don't always get to walk them between work and college. After their walkies I clean yard after them and what not to spend time with them. Little dog (i got him as a pup he's now 2 but still my puppy) did not want to go with kennels man at all! When kennels man arrived Stitch got in the car but Gizmo ran for it and I had to chase him down the road to catch him. Poor puppy.
As well as minding the doggies I had college work to do and radio work to do as well plus I wanted to try put up Xmas tree before I went. I had put it together a few days before (artificial tree) but wanted to get decorations on it and ended up only putting lights and tinsel on! Busy busy day and it resulted in me only getting 3 hours and 39 minutes sleep (the phone alarm said so!)
I was up at 5.30am because we had to get bus to the airport at 7am! Angel and I took a pic of our completed countdown calendar! (notice angel in his xmas gear... I was a little excited about this xmassy looking castle i was headed for)
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/24112011222.jpg
I still had lingering sniffles from a cold and still had chesty cough so tried to snooze a bit on the bus and we were just about to pull into the airport when I started feeling really sick.
Ireland's main airport has had a revamp recently resulting in a new terminal for the airport and it was my first time using the new terminal which I was also excited about. It was very mod looking:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/24112011227.jpg
but I was disappointed by the lack of Xmas decorations. The other terminal normally had snowmen, reindeer, penguins and such decorating the place. Anyhow we checked in no problemo:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/24112011225.jpg
See the name of our airline.. remember it for later in the trip as it will come up again!
After we checked in we went for food to see if it would make me feel any better it didn't. I was in the toilet three times after it with dodgy tummy :( Of course as well the tablets to settle the dodgy tummy were in the case which had already been checked in so once we got through security Momma headed off to the chemist to get me something to make me feel better.
I was very happy once we got through security to find some Xmas decorations finally:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/24112011228.jpg
Not much but still shiny. I also took my first food pic of cute cupcakes i saw and got a pretty strange look off guy that worked in cafe for taking it but anyways:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/24112011229.jpg
We wandered into duty free then Momma to shop and me to get water and had a bit of a fright the screens with gate numbers said wait in longue for our flight but while we were wandering around duty free it said final boarding call for our flight. I think it was a mistake because I checked the screens again and it just said go to US customs area.
We got through here no problemo again. It was kind of cool because they showed us our bags on a screen which they didn't do last year and checked they were our bags. I also didn't freak the security guy out this year with my indecisivness over what my job was :rotfl: When we got to gate Angel and I did our usual plane spotting:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/24112011234.jpg
This would be the fabulous plane that would take me to my happy place
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/24112011231.jpg
I needed another toilet stop at this point so left Angel on a chair with my Momma when I got back there was a small boy of about 7 or 8 sitting in my seat. Momma said he basically just sat on top of Angel regardless of the fact the seat was obviously taken sooo when he stood up to say something to one of his family a few seats down I sat back in my seat. Then small seat stealing brat said to his mother that lady just took my seat. His mother told him it didn't matter! Go away people I'M GOING TO FLORIDA MUCH?!
The flight boarded on time and we were sitting with a great view of the wing:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF9023.jpg
Soon enough we were headed for the run way
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF9028.jpg
and I'm inwardly shouting hurry up and take off.
I should prob split this here because it's a little long but continued in next post :)

So as I was saying we were on board about to take off and they started playing the flight safety video. There was this kinda cute little cartoon guy but I was a little concerned for him esp at the oxygen mask part and the blow into the whistle part because he had no mouth:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF9026.jpg
I think I have a better pic from the way back of the mouth-less dude. When dude was done with the safety instructions it was time to say bye bye to Ireland for two weeks:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/24112011236.jpg
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF9029.jpg
Each seat had their own little entertainment screen with movies, radio, games and tv shows or you could track flight progress and info on it. London to Miami yeah!.. oh wait should that not be Dublin to Orlando?!:confused3
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF9036.jpg
The flight attendants served drinks and snacks fairly quick into the flight but the snacks were these manky little yokes:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF9037.jpg
Momma had two packets because I didn't like them. I instead explored the inflight entertainment and was happy to find a Disney movie:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF9038.jpg
They were getting food ready and I started feeling sick again with the smell of it but decided to try something anyway. As always the choice was beef or chicken! I got the beef pasta and practiced my food pics:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF9046.jpg
Felt a small bit better after and had a little snooze but the snoozing didn't last long because I woke feeling like I was choking. Apparently cold and airplane air don't mix well and my throat was all caught up! So instead I entertained myself by watching Yogi Bear, did some puzzles, coloured (big baby I know,) started reading Disney after Dark. Somewhere in the middle of that we finally arrived over America and I felt the need to take a pic :)
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF9047.jpg
Also in the trip report diary I got a little reflective of the past year. I'll spare the details but with stress and anxiety I really needed to get to my happy place and couldn't believe I was finally on the way there. I started watching hoodwinked but before the end the first sighting of Orlando came into view and it was time to land:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF9053.jpg
The flight was nine hours in total but it passed pretty quickly and it was largely uneventful although there was tears as when we were landing already being sick and fluy I got big pains in my ears which made me cry! Angel as well got lots of compliments on the flight. The people behind us thought his shoes were really cute (he had twinkle toes for bears on) and Air hostess said he was really cute as well on way out of plane. The flight landed half and hour ahead of time and the first thing I noticed about Orlando airport was THEY HAVE DECORATIONS FOR XMAS:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF9054.jpg
Also had my first sighting of the main mouse:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF9056.jpg
I think we landed at 4.20 the luggage took ages to come out. The lady at the taxi desk (no magical express for us as we were going to international drive.) was confused by our transfer passes (again take note) we eventually managed to get a taxi and left the airport at 6:10 but then the driver circled around and went back to pick up someone else he had forgotten so we finally left the airport at 6.20! Two hours after we had landed.
We were staying in same hotel as last year. The International Palms resort on international drive. They have a resort area and a "Towers" building. Momma does not like the towers as it looks tall and reminds her of a prison. Last year we were put in the towers and she asked for a different room in resort area. This year we were put yup you guess it in the Towers again. Momma wasn't happy. I on the other hand actually prefere the towers as they are more recently built and the rooms are bigger and look cleaner than the resort area although it did seem like whole resort had had a revamp since last year. Anyways I convinced her to stay in the Towers but she was never happy about it. Our room:

http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF9061.jpg
We booked the bus for our first park day. I got a quick snack of these:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/25112011237.jpg
and then had an early night.
Next up first disney day!

I'm here!
Great start... sorry you were still not feeling very well for the flight. That had to have been a miserable 9 hours to be stuck on a plane while you're feeling under the weather. At least you ened up in Orlando at the end of the 9 hours though.:thumbsup2
Great move stealing your seat back when the kid got up.:thumbsup2 :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

I do hope you get to feeling better pretty quick. I’ve been ill while traveling in the Orlando area before, and despite all the entertainment to be had, it just ain’t as much fun.

:goodvibes Welcome. The flight wasn't bad i kind of perked up alittle after I ate but I couldn't sleep at all. I didn't mind to much though because I was headed for Mickey's house! :)
Yeah I actually forgot to say on the report there but when I was getting my bags in Orlando same kid that stole my seat and his family kind of gathered around me as I was trying to get me suitcases I think there was about 15 of them in total :scared1:

I don't think I'd mind being sick in Disney to much though. Once I can be in Mickey's house i'm happy :)

How miserable you must have been on that flight.... but knowing how much this trip has meant to you...your first sighting of Mickey made all better.
We are actually flying out of a new terminal too...really looking forward to seeing the renovation completed because it has made flying out a headache the last couple of years....funny thing is it only has 5 gates...:rotfl2:
I so loved the picture of Ireland from the plane...it is on my bucket list to hike those green hills someday!
Great about a Disney movie in flight...I checked our flight movies today and Harry Potter 7.2 is playing...I know what we are watching!
Love the lucky charms...perfect and fitting for you!
Sorry about the little toot who took your seat....:scared1:they surrounded you at baggage...I am getting pretty bold lately and am saying things to rude people...tired of being the nice guy!

I think I would have been stir crazy on a 9 hour flight!:scared1: Especially if I wasn't feeling well. Then to throw 2 hours on top of that still at the airport! I would have crashed in the hotel lobby:lmao:

After the food I kind of felt better until the landing part so it wasn't to bad on the flight.
Ireland is nice but it's cold and wet most of the time!
it said Harry potter was meant to be on our flight going back but it wasn't.
Those lucky charms I love them. They used to sell them in Ireland years ago but for some reason don't any more so when I go to America I'm like first stop Lucky Charms time :) I was going to bring a box home with me but they were like 5 dollars in walmart and it was to much out of my disney money :rotfl:
Yeah that annoyed me when they were surrounding me so I fully planned on accidentally on purpose hitting them with me cases to teach them not to stand so close but they moved to opposite side before my cases came out :goodvibes

Flight passed pretty quickly so it wasn't to bad. I was very eager to get to Mickey's house :) I think we got food and went straight to bed though when we got there.
Angel got many compliments around the airport and on the plane that day and in various other places during the trip!

There isn't many directs, but most look around 6 or 7 I think. It's been awhile since I looked. But then with an hour or two stop over

That's a long flight! I saw the motel you stayed at. It's very close to Universal. Did you walk there? That street (Kirkman) is crazy busy to get to the parking garage.

Yeah that's like flight to canary islands for us.. except Mickey isn't in canary islands! I went there once or twice went swimming with sealions there actually but it just doesn't have the same feel as getting off a plane and knowing Mickey is like ten minutes away :goodvibes sorry random tangent there! :)

I need a little bit of help from all of you wonderful people again. I bought my niece a 12 inch Duffy (naked) and the book for Xmas and her momma just rang and apparently Duffy is her new best friend to cut a long story short but Build a bear clothes aren't fitting it. Can anyone suggest where I might get clothes small enough for a 12 inch Duffy for her to dress the poor naked bear :)
Also want to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas

This year has been a tough one and I've had alot of down moments but everytime I come on disboards and read your lovely comments or your trip reports or ptr I come away with a smile and happy thoughts of Disney so thank you all. So back to the trip report.
Day Two Part 1 (this trip report could get long)
This morning was Black Friday and I don't think we are brave enough to try shop in the conditions I heard about plus I needed a Disney fix ASAP so we had our first Disney day.
First off we were woken up at 6am because somebody (must not start rant) rang momma from Ireland and once they disturbed my sleep I just got up washed and dressed to head for our Disney bus because there was no way I was going back to sleep when I knew we were hours away from getting to our first park :)
We went out to wait for the bus from our hotel to Disney and I took early morning pic of hotel entrance:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2003.jpg
At 8.30 a big BLUE (this is important take note) bus arrived to take us to Disney. This isn't my pic but because of importance of colour of the bus for later in the day I wanted to share the bus was kind of this colour:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/128413911039975.jpg
By 9 o'clock we were seeing this:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2004.jpg
It's a little lopsided but I had the BIGGEST smile on my face ever when I saw that and every care, worry, annoyance in the world just floated away I was back in my happy place!
Our hotel bus brings us to the Epcot coach park so we had to use our first Disney bus to take us to our first park. While we were waiting in line two seperate people asked us if we knew how to get them to Magic Kingdom and I directed them to the monorail like Disney was a second home. Momma was like woah you do know alot about Disney :rotfl: and that was only at the start of the trip. I had warned her as well that once I saw the castle I may cry and while waiting for our at Disney that morning I told her I was so happy I could cry and she was like don't start blubbing here. I held it together because soon the bus arrived and it was time to:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2009.jpg
Like that?... Can you guess where we were headed yet?
Yup:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2008.jpg
And it was all decorated for Xmas as well. Walking towards the park we started to notice the first of many Xmas trees we would see and this one was GIANT!:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2010.jpg
and that's only the top half!
I loved the decorations and how they had Winnie the pooh characters underneath:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2013.jpg
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2014.jpg
We paused for a photopass pic (i don't have that disc yet) and I took a few more pictures before we headed over to get our tickets:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2016.jpg
The tickets actually said Our family name Safari on the back which I wondered was it because we got them in Animal Kingdom or do they all say that on them.
Tickets in hand we headed in to Animal Kingdom (after a few more pics :) )
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2017.jpg
There was some birds out to greet us:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2019.jpg
and then we stopped for some more photopass pics in front of Tree of Life since I had ordered the photopass cd already I planned to make full use of the photographers lol. I told momma if you see a photopass person let them take your photo they already have my money :rotfl:
Anyways once we had our pics taken and I took my own pics of tree of life we headed for our first destination

Day Two, Part Two:
In above post I'd left off where we were headed to our first destination and probably the main reason I was very anxious to get to Animal Kingdom on time but even in a rush there's always time to take pictures along the way:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2022.jpg
and get our first ever fast passes:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2023.jpg
We have never used fast pass before and would definately give it a huge :thumbsup2
And then it was time.. If you haven't guessed already we were headed to Africa and our reason was because we had our first adr of the trip in Tusker House for breakfast at 10:05. I was a little anxious about it because I wasn't sure we would make it on time but we had loads of time that morning. We stopped for our photo with Donald and then I sneeked this so I wouldn't have to buy their photo (which they never did show us but anyhow) :
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2024.jpg
We were seated fairly quickly and informed our waiter would be Neil and once he served us drinks we could head for the buffet. While we waited for Neil, Goofy came along (pic is missing from my computer :confused3 ) I had last years autograph book and Goofy's name was last and when he spotted it he started pointing to himself. Neil came and gave us our drinks and I told Momma that breakfast had set price so take as much as you like we're paying for it anyway so I practiced food pics first:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2026.jpg
this is what all that is:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2027.jpg
Then when I went back to table took a pic of my plate:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2028.jpg
Doughnuts for breakfast? Gotta love it but more importantly. MICKEY WAFFLES:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2029.jpg
Daisy came along and there was no sign of Momma so I asked some guy at table behind me to take the pic which he did. Daisy was tiny like smaller than me and I'm 5ft 3 or shorter lol:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2030.jpg
Then Momma came back and this was her plate:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2032.jpg
and this was her other plate:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2031.jpg
:scared1: no way would I be able to eat all that!
This is also where fun began because Neil decided to make it his mission to win Momma's affection. He kept coming over to chat and Momma wasn't happy with this. First he asked her if it was the best breakfast she ever had and she went NO! He left for a while to prepare the bill but came back with new determination to win her over (plus he'd spotted her bagging some of her brekkie for later... well we paid for it) So he said to her since you've got half the buffet in your bag am I the best waiter ever. She was like NO! So he asked her if it was his hair that she didn't like (he was bald) She just gave him a dirty look and he said he'd go off to brush it so it parted in the middle. In the meantime a parade started and this guy marched on by:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2033.jpg
Neil our lovely waiter came back after the parade with a tray of paper cups saying these were lovely hot chocolates and we had to try them and then tipped the tray on top of our table......
No worries the cups were empty but Momma went from shocked face to angry face in about 2.5 seconds and Mr. Neil scooted off finally accepting he wasn't going to win her over. It was kind of funny though :lmao:
Afterwards he quietly came back because I think we had a late breakfast there and it was obvious they were trying to clear the area we were seated in and characters had stopped coming around there so we didn't see them all and Neil came over to find out what ones missed us and made sure that Mickey Mouse came to see me so they got him to come to a side wall for a pic with me which I thought was nice of them.
I had asked momma most days what she thought of what we did that day and regarding tusker house she said she didn't like the big bald (i'll put the nice word in) man who wouldn't let her eat her breakfast in peace :rotfl:
Next up Safari Time!

Good call on going to the parks on Black Friday. I wouldn't go anywhere near a store on that day. :lmao:
The Christmas decorations at the parks are great. I'd never seen them before this year, and I really want to do it again.
It looks like a great breakfast. It sounds like you had a good server, who was really trying hard to make it a fun experience. I know how your momma felt though. Sometimes I just want to eat in peace and be left alone too.:rotfl2:

The Christmas decorations were amazing! I really want to go that last week in october and first week in november though so i'd get halloween and christmas in all on the one trip :rotfl:
The breakfast was funny (I thought) and I thought it was really nice of them to make sure I'd seen all the characters since they were obviously trying to clear up.

Day 2. part 3:
So after breakfast momma took a moment to compose herself and we wandered the shops of Africa for a few mins i took pics of the pretty stuff :) :
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2038.jpg
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2039.jpg
I noticed in shops in Animal kingdom there was a top similar to mine which was:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/t-shirt.jpg
except tops for sale were gold and black. People kept asking me where I got mine! I'd made it. I got the mickey head online and then glued/sewed it to the top. Mine cost like 6 dollars altogether the one for sale was 32!
Anyways after that it was time to try out this fast pass system (we loved it) and we were off on a two month Safari in Africa:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2041.jpg
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2045.jpg
We saw baby elephants:

http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2055.jpg
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2054.jpg
We had to cut our safari short though because poachers interupted it. So once back at base we headed off through a lovely forest trail:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2056.jpg
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2058.jpg
We were standing watching those ducks when Momma felt a PLOP!!! Some fat little bird just pooped all the way down her top and got a bit in her hair as well. She had a white top on and was very upset about it being destroyed. A CM saw her distress and brought her to a backstage CM bathroom to try wash a bit of it off while the fat little bird sat victoriously in the tree above us! While I was waiting for Momma I went hippo watching as well:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2061.jpg
This next pic you will see a hippo in the water if you look really really really really really close...
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2062.jpg
Yeah I can only barely see it but only because I had a vague idea where it was from the fact a Daddy was telling his small boy beside me look it looks like a big rock! :rotfl:
When Momma was back we headed off in search of Lilly but first stopped by Timon's cousins:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2066.jpg
Then Baby Lilly.. but she was nowhere to be seen. I asked a CM because I had come all the way from Ireland the least baby lilly could do was come out and say hi but NOOOOOOOOOOOOO :rotfl: CM said she thought she was in the cave but wasn't out however Daddy decided this year that he was in a posing mood and so I got these pics:

http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2072.jpg

Disney is certainly lovely during the holidays. I seen it twice, I’d like to do it again (but in early December next time).
We haven’t been to tusker house since it was made a character experience, but we always enjoyed the breakfast available here. When my son was younger, we’d head over to Harambe and get passes for the Safari and then go eat breakfast. I always found the atmosphere at Tusker to be very relaxing.
The Pangani trail is a lot of fun as well… most of the time… ummmmm….
Your mom was having a fairly difficult morning now wasn’t she?
May that nonsense not continue any farther (and may it not include any chance encounters with unsocial tigers).
Looking forward to the next installment!

Day 2, part 4:
After getting photopass pics and what not we headed to the ruins of an ancient temple in the form of the Maharajah Jungle Trek!
We had to be very careful though because there were Tigers about:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2080.jpg
First we had a game of odd duck out:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2081.jpg
Then we round the corner and sure enough there was a Tiger lurching:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2085.jpg
I think he was feeling a little anti-social that day however because he would not pose for pictures. At least Lilly's daddy posed instead!
Then I had a little bit of a slow moment because I took this picture thinking oooh pretty:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2086.jpg
and didn't spot this guy and girls until the CM said he's a bit of a player with the three ladies:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2087.jpg
Someone else was apparently feeling (and looking) a bit grumpy that day as well:

But there was some very pretty bird houses on this trek and I kinda want one for my garden:

After that scary encounter with the anti-social Tiger it was time for a snack in the form of:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2097.jpg
hmmmm Mickey Ice-cream sandwich bar! :lovestruc
After filling up on Mickey's ice-cream we headed on over to Dinoland USA to check out the area and it was even decorated for Christmas:

http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2107.jpg
I wandered the shop there as well for a bit while I was waiting for a certain doggy to take a snack break and spotted this guy:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2111.jpg
Who knew Dinosaurs wore santa hats?!!
Some super cool disney food:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2113.jpg
This dude would not wait for a picture which made me sad:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2115.jpg
But this guy came back out for a picture and I think I was third in line so no huge wait:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2120.jpg
When I went back to Momma (she won't do character pics) some strange man had come over to her and given her a Disney button (those where her words) and I was like aws I want one where is the strange man. She gave me hers instead:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF9063.jpg
After that we said goodbye to Dinoland USA:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2121.jpg
and headed off to find a spot to watch the parade.

Day 2, part 5:
On our way out of Dinoland we tried to see the Winnie the Pooh characters but CM sent us away because they had gone for snacks so I went and got pics with these guys instead:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2124.jpg
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2124a.jpg
We then wandered up to the gates of Africa and sat on a bench outside the first-aid/childcare place and I wandered another one of the shops while we waited for the parade since it was fairly quiet in that area. It was a great place to sit for the parade because it never really got busy there that day and parade came straight down out of Africa. But that's a side note for now while I was waiting I took pics in the shop to pass the time.

and he got a new hoodie for 2012:

Cute Christmas tree:

I thought these were cute:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2133.jpg
There was a Mickey mouse one with Pluto pj's and slippers on.
I also like how they made the girl bug (name?) a Disney princess :
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2136.jpg
While I was doing all that Momma was sat on a bench outside making a little friend for herself. She sat beside a mother who had a handicapped child with her. The little girl had got a Peter Pan playset in the shop and was sharing all the pieces with Momma. They moved on once her sister and daddy came back from wherever they had been and then it time for the Jingle Jungle Parade:

http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2142.jpg
I like how they even decorated the big animal floats:

http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2152.jpg

http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2164.jpg
After the parade we went to sit down and decide where to next and a lady told us we dropped our autograph book behind the bench. It wasn't ours but we figured it was prob belonging to the little friend Momma had made because at one point when they were beside us the stroller toppled over so it prob fell off it then. Anyway we took it with us hoping we'd meet them along the way and if not we would hand it into lost and found.
Next up land of the 555 Christmas Trees

We don't really do the big rides ever so we do shows and the trails in Animal Kingdom instead. They're nice except I wanted to see how big Lilly was and never got time to go back!

Bumping back up the question about 12 inch Duffy and does anyone know where one might get clothes for 12 inch Duffy. The outlet store was selling them naked and DN10 is looking for clothes for him because the build a bear clothes are to big!
Also does anyone else have cd of Magic in the streets? I got one when I was there in December and it the music plays fine on my dvd player but it won't read on my computer. I wondered if this was just due to copyright but I wanted to put it on my ipod :(

I meant to answer this yesterday. Lisa has 12 inch Duffy...she just uses the BAB clothes...yes, they are a bit big, but they do work! Of course, Lisa also puts her BAB clothes on her AG doll..she isn't picky, as long as they have clothes... and she knows that is all we can afford, so she makes do...Maybe someone has a pattern and your niece could have some made??? That would be GREAT!
3000 pictures!!!!! You go!
Really enjoying all your AK pictures. Its my favorite park and you got some great and unique shots. I was just there a few weeks ago and now I can't wait to go edit my trek pictures after seeing your. I loved the mahalarjah trek and it was wonderful to be able to enjoy it in the cooler weather.
Keep those pictures coming!!!!!
Didn't you just love the Christmas parade?

Great pictures. I loved the details of the Jungle Trek. DW said she wants one of those bird houses.
I didn't even notice the dinosaur with the santa hat when we were there. I must not have been paying enough attention when we were in Dinoland.

I think DN10 prob just wants Disney Duffy clothes... May have to explain she'll have to make do and get the bigger Duffy for her birthday.
If anyone reading can make Duffy clothes let me know though.

I like taking pictures of things I like.. Lots of pictures! :goodvibes I also took six video tapes of footage in past years that has been only been three so looking forward to getting stuck into them and making holiday dvds but waiting for photopass to arrive to start that. Will prob rip a few more pics off the video footage as well :)
Animal Kingdom is one of our take it easy parks hence starting with it.

The dinosaur with Santa hat was inside the shop in Dinoland not sure what it was called. I was killing time because CM sent me away from Pluto line. He wasn't going to let people form a wait line when Pluto was going in for a snack!

Thanks. Trip report lets me hold onto Disney for a bit longer while I try figure out finances and times for when I can go again :rotfl:
We totally missed the Tiger Trek the passed three times we went so I made it my main mission to visit that this year!
The parade was so cute with all the Xmassy stuff. That of course was timid though compared to the rest of the Xmas stuff in the other parks wow factor :goodvibes

Day 2, part 6:
This trip report is going to be alot longer than I thought! Part 6 of first park day and i'm not finished yet. Firing these up this week though for two reasons first the day 2 pics are all sitting in photobucket waiting for their story to be told and secondly I'm going back to college next week so won't have as much time to update as often and another 14 days to get through so lots of Xmassy Disney fun for a while :goodvibes
Anyways back to trip report
After parade we headed down to Camp Minnie Mickey to meet a few friends and Camp Minnie Mickey was of course decorated for Xmas.
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2166.jpg
There was loads of Christmas trees there hence the land of 555 Christmas trees title for this update (although there may not have technically been 555 Christmas trees but there was alot for one area of the park :) ) There was basically a Christmas tree for many Disney characters:
Chip and Dale:

Day 2, part 7:
So while we were wandering Camp Minnie Mickey I decided to go off and visit some old friends. Momma won't do character pics so she went off to find a bench to rest on. I went along first to see the number one duck:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2184.jpg
In line for Donald there was a little one and her nanny. She must have only been about three if even but when I got to the top of the line Donald had to go for a snack and this little one thought he was going home and tried to follow him. I let her go ahead of me when he came back and while she was waiting she amused herself with the buttons which were all disney characters on my crocs!
Of course each of the Camp Minnie Mickey characters had their own Christmas trees as well. This was Donald's:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2182.jpg
Next up was Thumper. I was super excited about him because last year I saw Miss Bunny and Thumper but Thumper went in for carrots just before I went to meet them and only Miss Bunny came out so this year I got his furry self:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2187.jpg
After Thumper I finally got my Santa Goofy picture I had been wanting all day:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2190.jpg
The pictures from Santa Goofy seemed a bit weird to me because they are all off centre but what I didn't cop was there was a sleigh to the side of Santa Goofy. It's not really good in any of my pics so maybe photopass ones will be better whenever they arrive. Goofy of course had his Christmas tree as well:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2189.jpg
One of the good things about going to Disney without kids is the ability to slow things down and not rush to rides and whatever and take in what is around us and this includes watching people and sometimes over-hearing conversations that you really don't want to be listening to. In line for Minnie Mouse was a prime example of this as the couple behind me were rowing. he had been naughty and had been texting his old girlfriend and she had been looking through his phone catching him at this. Bad argument to be having in Minnie line. For some reason I don't have the Minnie pic on photobucket but I do have her Christmas tree:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2191.jpg
Also in the Minnie and Mickey lines they had these super cute bird houses in the trees which again I want one for my garden:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2192.jpg
Of course I couldn't leave Camp Minnie Mickey without visiting the best Mouse in the World:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2201.jpg
He had his own Christmas tree as well:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2202.jpg
After that we went to Festival of the Lion King and were in the giraffe section:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/25112011241.jpg
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/25112011240.jpg
Last time I went to FOTLK they took in Simba and Pumba at the end before the audience left but this time they left them out so people could take pics with them. Of course Happy snappy got pics:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2212.jpg
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2210.jpg
One thing I did notice as well was the all the park hours had changed from what was on the time sheets the week before I went over. When I had been planning it said Animal Kingdom would be open until 7 but when we got there they said it was open until 8. So after the Lion King we were going to go to Finding Nemo but when we read the times the shows stopped at 6 and it was only really coasters that were on until park close. We stopped at Flame Tree Barbecue for some food before we decided to head back towards Epcot for our hotel bus. I was keeping all the receipts for trip report purposes really but later on when I was back at the hotel I noticed the Flame Tree Barbecue receipt had a voucher on the end. You could get 20% off your purchases if you bought them before 12 noon in Mouse Gear in Epcot, Mickey's of Hollywood or Keystone Clothier in DHS, Island Mercentile at Animal Kingdom, The Emporium in Magic Kingdom and World of Disney at DTD and it was up until January 2nd. I thought it was cool and kinda made us keep watching all our receipts from then on!
Anyway that was a side note before we left Animal Kingdom we went to Lost and found because we still had the autograph book from the parade time and we went along and explained to the CM where we had found it and he told us that the lady had come in looking for it and he had her details so could now get it sent to her hotel for her. We were super happy about that because the little one was so sweet sharing her toys with Momma.
When we got to Epcot it was about 7.30 and our bus wasn't until 9. We didn't really want to go into the park so we sat on a bench watching Beethoven's Christmas movie on my ipod while we were waiting. At one point we decided to move from the bench over to our bus stop. So our hotel had given us a letter saying our bus stop was at Lane C 21 great! So we went to find lane 21... yeah it doesn't exist anymore because now the lanes are 25-52! Eh where's our bus going to be?
So we were standing obviously looking a bit lost and confused because the security guard came over to ask us if we needed help and we told him about our bus and asked were lane 21 would be. He added up and figured it would probably be lane 45. He said he would check though because he had a folder in his office with all the hotel buses and what lane they would be in so he asked what hotel which we told him then he said and what colour is your bus. Momma went It was white! at the same time that I went Blue! and we got a confused look from the security guard. Momma kept going it was white I'm sure it was white. I was like eh nope it was navy blue and security guard eventually went yeah the bus for that hotel is normally blue! :rotfl:
He eventually confirmed that it was lane 45 and we did manage to get our big white-blue bus but from then on everytime I saw the bus coming I'd go joking Look Momma the big white Disney bus is coming! :rotfl: It's also where the title option "All aboard the big white bus for Nov/Dec trip report" came from!
And that was Day 2! The park crowds didn't really bother us for Black Friday and only wait time I noticed although we didn't go on it was Everest was 45 minute wait time.
Next up My Magical Happy place I am back!!!

Don't you just hate it when real life gets in the way of DIS fun? :rotfl: I know I do! And I don't blame you one bit about your rant! I'd feel the same way about a 3000 word essay. Best of luck with it!

I just think they're pointless considering the idea of the course is to train us for the radio and television industry and nowhere in that industry will I have to write a 3000 word essay!

This week has been zzzzzz! It's been so hard to get back into things and I'm pretty sure I've missed morning train all but one morning :lmao: January is a crappy time for our family anyway as we have family anniversary's in January. It's my dad's anniversary today! I was also having chest pains and I've so far written 100 words of my first 3000 word essay  but whatever! What I did do was more important because I edited pics for another update... see next post. One good thing my lecturer is unknownly incouraging my photo addiction :) He said we should take photos of everything we do and have camera with us at all times (like I need incouragement) My class couldn't get over the 3000 pics and think I'm obsessed and couldn't believe I wouldn't be the only adult as crazy into disney and queuing for characters as me!
I still don't have photopass cd
and I still can't get my Magic in the streets cd to play in my computer :(

Day 3, Part 1:
Saturday 26th November 2011
Anyone thinking of going in November/December this year this day was obviously falling in Thanksgiving weekend and there was no Christmas party on in the park but there was a few surprises throughout the day so if you didn't want to shell out extra money for the Christmas party this might be a good day to visit the parks?!
Anyways we got up early. Our hotel had two bues to the parks in the morning one at 8.30am and one at 12.30. We got the early one all the time for obvious reasons. We went out to reception and pretty soon our big white-blue bus arrived to take us to the land where dreams come true and this morning I was super excited because I was going to my uber magical happy place! We got to Epcot shortly after 9 and took the Monorail to Ticket and Transportation centre:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF9065.jpg
Quick stop for a pic:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1467.jpg
and then in our own Disney tradition we got the Ferryboat over to the most Magical Kingdom on earth (probably) for the first time this trip:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF9067.jpg
first view of Mickey's house:

http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1470.jpg
Soon we arrived at my magical happy place (it was a quarter to ten when we arrived I zoomed in on the clock :) ):
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1472a.jpg
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1473.jpg
We went around the corner and little miss snappy here got way overwhelmed! So many decorations, I was in my happy place, so many lights, I was in my happy place, what direction to go first, I was in my happy place! *runs around in excited circles to wear down excitement.* and then cue alot of picture taking:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1477.jpg
I like how I got a little rainbow in the corner of this pic:

http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1480.jpg
One of first things I noticed about Magic Kingdom was no 45 ft Christmas tree this year. Instead was this:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1481.jpg
It was still cute though! And then Lookie the castle through all those wreaths:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1482.jpg
MOMMA WE'RE IN THE MAGICAL PLACE WHERE ALL WORRIES GO AWAY!!! Before I had a melt down I took Momma's ticket because she won't queue for characters and went off to get these fastpasses:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1479.jpg
Then in order to calm down and try decide what direction to go in next we headed for the Emporium:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1484.jpg
I took that pic and then heard music start outside so ran out to see these guys:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1486.jpg
Doesn't the lady with the green skirt on the end look like she has no feet in that pic! but yay another disney ambition filled. I'd never seen them before and hoped to see them and was not expecting them to be out then but there ya go. When they finished we went back inside to finish looking and picture taking:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1490.jpg
See the Mickey Mouse that was the Christmas outfit for 2011 on the plushies. I then took pictures of some of the cute window displays:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1488.jpg
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1489.jpg
Again when I was looking up park hours it said Magic Kingdom would be open this day until 10pm but when we got the park times on the day it said the park was going to be open until 12am! So I left the decision on how long we stayed with Momma as it would determine the rest of the evening. We could get taxi back to hotel or else leave park early and get our hotel bus at 10.30. I left her to think that over for a while and we headed up towards the hub:

I may be wrong, but I think the big wasn't there because they take it down for the parade taping the first weekend in December. Maybe the little tree was there as decor until then?
Nice decor photos! I can't wait until I can see it for myself. Good catch on the singers!

I know everything was so pretty.
I have many pictures from Magic Kingdom. Waiting for my photopass to start my dvd and put the video on the computer. I can do first few updates but need pics from the video for one of them because something happened that distracted my picture taking but I caught the start of it on video. :goodvibes

Ah you'll have to wait and see on the big Christmas tree :)
I found that I'd seen all the pictures of the castle etc in advance and they were wow and the videos made me cry but when you are standing there in front of it it's just out of this world!
I wanted to see those singers and didn't really expect them to be there I just heard the music and took off with Momma trailing behind I hoped! :rotfl:

I've spent the day studying for what will be a third of my essay and my head hurts now so have an update :)
Day 3, Part 2:
This will be mainly pictures but I'm sure you won't mind.
Once we made our way to the hub and I amused myself with picture taking we decided to wait for the first Move it, Shake it, Celebrate it Street Party of the day before our next destination so it began and there was much shaking of tail feathers and picture taking:

http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1505.jpg
I learned from other trip reports that if you stand in certain places you get pretty pictures with the castle in the background so I moved from one side of the street to the other and then took these:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1508.jpg

All the while Momma's job was to watch the time so we would make it to our next destination on time. So she started saying we need to go as the street party started to leave. Uh huh just a few more pics and we'll go:

Okie I sorted the video pics for Magic Kingdom so all pics ready to have their story told for Day 3! Strange thing when I was looking at tapes from the holiday I know the first day I went under the arch I had the camera on and lens cover off and recording from the time we came round the corner until we got under the arch and yet on the tape there's a minute of blue screen and it starts at Safari. The arch is totally missing :confused3 may get it next time :goodvibes Anyways one more update before I go back to college tomorrow:
Day 3, Part 3:
When we got to Magic Kingdom the main reason we didn't want to go to far away from the Hub was because we had an early lunch reservation here:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1525.jpg
As the Move it, shake it parade moved off we had just enough time to cross the bridge to Crystal Palace and check in for lunch. We got our pager:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1526.jpg
and then waited about ten more minutes before they started letting people in. Our lunch was at 11.35 so they were clearing the place after breakfast before they let anyone in. Result being when they called our name we were first into the section they were putting us sitting at. Our waitress was Cindy she brought drinks quickly and then largely stayed away which Momma was happy with :goodvibes She did come back once or twice to check everything was ok but didn't bug Momma like the guy in Tusker.
I had this t-shirt on today which proved to be a good interaction point as well:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/IMG_0279.jpg
Being first in as well we got our first visitor very quickly as Piglet came straight over and he loved the t-shirt as his best friend was on it:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1530.jpg
and Eeyore followed close behind:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1536.jpg
how cute is his tail hanging behind him:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1537.jpg
After Eeyore there was no sight of Pooh bear or Tigger and Cindy confirmed they wouldn't be there for a while so we headed off to the buffet. My plate:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1533.jpg
I think the mac and cheese and meatballs were from the kids section but they suited me better than the choice on the adult section at the time. I think when I went up some of the selection for adults wasn't out yet because Momma did get steak which I didn't see at all but she was behind me a good bit. Only negative I had about it though was the Broccoli was very spicy!
Anyway Momma's first plate:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1534.jpg
and her second plate:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1535.jpg
This meal was a major hit with Momma because it was "proper" food as she deems it potatoes and veg in other words and plenty of it.
The place was a bit slow at filling up and Piglet paid us a second visit. Momma refused to get into a picture with Piglet (busy eating) so Piglet kissed her head and made her pay attention to him. Eeyore came back to us as well. He seemed confused as to what tables he had already been at because he pointed to the autograph book to see if we wanted him to sign. :confused3
After a while we did get more visitors first Tigger:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1538.jpg
Tigger did not like my T-shirt and was pointing to himself so I told him I would buy one of him later and this made him happier.
Our next visitor was the Tubbie little Cubbie himself and he loved my T-shirt of course:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1541.jpg
I was watching as Tigger went around he kept stealing people's hats and putting them on for the pictures and I also took this pic which I thought was funny:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1546.jpg
Looks like Winnie the Pooh decided to have some lunch with some guy. I guess maybe his friends were at the buffet. It looked funny though.
We did go for dessert at some stage as well. There wasn't much there that I wanted dessert wise but my plate:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1547.jpg
Those little things with chocolate in the middle had a kind of chocolate hazelnut filling and were super yummy and i could have had many more.
Momma's dessert plate:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1548.jpg
I know we had a bowl of ice-cream between us as well but there's no pic of that for some reason.
Momma's verdict on it was the lunch at Crystal Palace was worth the money but Tusker house breakfast wasn't but hey one win is good enough for me for now :) Crystal Palace didn't feel as rushed as our other character dining experiences either so major :thumbsup2 for Crystal Palace.
Before we left I went off to take pictures of the toparies as well. Those things are amazing they are totally made out of flowers (except the hats and scarves obv: )

Momma had a bad morning in Animal Kingdom! I don't think she was to upset though in the end.
I was afraid of that happening crowd wise with Camp Minnie Mickey alot of people seemed to be heading that way after the parade but they must have gone to FOTLK because besides the mice the other lines were fairly short for characters.
I thought the boxes of sweets were cute. I wanted to seven dwarves one but when I went to buy them there was none :(
We actually started college in September but we had from 15th Dec until 9th Jan off. Allow me to interrupt this trip report to say I have found the man of my dreams :rotfl:
So went along to Disney shop (an excellent way to kill time) yesterday and they had new Vinylmation and dolls and muppets and woah I want one of everything.
I did take a pic of the window display:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/17012012375.jpg
I went back today to get some Vinylmations and the CM that served me I all but asked him to marry me (not really but I thought it :lmao:) First he asked if I was a collector of the Vinyls I was like yeah. He said in their merchandise room they have a display of all Vinyls for sales purposes only but they are all there including chasers and he said he dreams of owning it one day but says it'll prob never happen. He then asked if I'd ever been to the parks and got any there. I was like I've been 5 times. I could be wrong but I'm guessing they're going to change the window display every month to suit the princess. If so I want a pic of all of them :)
The Loves disney guy told me there was a charm bracelet and for each princess month there would be a different set of charms for the princess of the month. Cute idea.

Day 3, Part 4:
So when we left Crystal Palace the Move it, Shake it parade was going on around the hub again. Momma and I stopped to get some photopass pics because we saw a lone photographer standing nearby CP and I had told Momma since it's paid for already make everyone of them we see take pics of us :rotfl:
I'm trying to remember if Momma went to first aid at this stage as well. I know she went in for plasters at one point and had to sign a book to say why she had visited first aid but i don't remember when she went. Anyway we headed over to the hub to get closer to the castle just as the Move it, Shake it parade was moving off so I got these pics:

Then we went up to stand in front of castle and take pretty pics. Can never have to many pics of the castle:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2220.jpg
Soon enough the Dream along with Mickey show started. Only difference between 2010 and 2011 was in 2010 the main characters were in blue outfits and 2011 they were in original colours but shiny! I recorded it (i think) because in 2010 tape ran out during the show and Momma was nowhere to be seen with the other tapes. I also took many pics of course:

I so want one of those apples but just can't bring myself to spend 10 dollars on an apple.
Just before the hub as well there is a board that has wait times of the major attractions in each area and I noticed at that point which was about 1:45 ish wait time for Peter Pan was 65 minutes and wait time for Winnie the Pooh was 60 minutes. I don't think I've ever seen WtP with a 60 minute wait time! The Park seemed to be getting busier and busier as the day went on.
Next up Yes I should be a Princess!

Why do the apples have to be so expensive. It's not like the ingredients cost alot apple, marshmallow, chocolate, sugary stuff :rotfl: There's cheaper yummy options out there. One apple is more expensive than some of the meals at the quick service restaurants like :rotfl:

First of all....very nice blog with great pics!
And that is so true about the apples costing more than a QS meal! Never thought of it that way.
I saw in an earlier post that you're reading the Kingdom Keepers series. Is it any good? I love, love, loved the Harry Potter series; have read the Twilight books (thought they were ok) and loved the Hunger Games series - so I do like some young adult series. But, I've been wondering if Kingdom Keepers is really good or if would be "too young" for me. :confused3

I like younger books. I love Harry Potter and Twilight and I read a series called House of Night (vampires again.) I like Kingdom Keepers. I don't know if that's because I'm a disney fan or whether it's just good. I want the whole series though and I don't think it's too young but it depends on what you think is to young I suppose. Maybe try get the first one cheap off ebay and if you don't like that don't get anymore of them. I read the first one and wanted to know what happens next though so it might hook you in :)

They are in the corner to the left of Tony's as you're facing it. There's a wooden gate that says something about Bikes on it and the machines are just there hidden away. If that makes any sense.

Day 3, Part 5:
So we were headed towards the exit but we weren't leaving any time soon I had some fast passes that were burning a hole in my pocket so we headed towards Town Square Theatre. As I was going in I noticed the wait time for the Princesses was 40 minutes and for Mickey Mouse was 5 minutes :scared1: That shocked me. Why wasn't Mickey's line as long as Princesses?!
Anyways Momma went to find a chair to rest on and I went to Princess line first with my fast pass and waited about ten minutes before I got in the room and up to Princesses.
First was Aurora
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1560.jpg
She said she liked my t-shirt (see CP post) I told her I wore it because we had lunch with Pooh bear. I had pigtail plaits in my hair that day and she said she liked them and asked if my fairies did them for me. I told her I didn't have any fairies that I did them myself so she said she thought she should get me to do her hair. No problemo I accept the job :goodvibes
Then on to Belle:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1561.jpg
She made a mess of my autograph nearly! She asked my name and I guess was going to write my name instead of Belle but she made it very scribbly to cover up the mistake and it's barely noticable now :rotfl:
She said she had read books on calligraphy and they were great and asked what my favourite books were. I couldn't think so off the top of my head said Harry Potter. She said they were Chips favourite books as well.
Last but not least came Cinderella:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1563.jpg
She asked how far I came in my pumpkin. I said 9 hours flight from Ireland. She asked if I was a princess there and I said no so she said I should be a Princess and at that point totally won my affection forevermore as I responded Yes I should be a Princess!! :)
I left the Princess room circled back to front of the building and went to use my fast pass for the Mouse which I really didn't need to use because his line was so short anyway (poor Mickey :( )
I took some pics in the Queue first
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1558.jpg
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1559.jpg
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1565.jpg
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1566.jpg
and soon enough I was getting hugs from my favourite Mouse:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1567.jpg
And again the t-shirt I had on got attention. The photopass lady thought it was cute that when I was standing to the left of Mickey it looked like Winnie the Pooh on my t-shirt was looking up at Mickey Mouse!
After having fun with the characters we went back out onto Main street to grab a good spot for the parade. I left Momma sitting and I took a few more scenery pics:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF9070.jpg
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF9072.jpg
We sat on the corner just opposite the emporium outside of the Confectionary shop and off to the left as we were sitting I was looking at a certain character who was just standing there in front of where you'd get the fast passes for Mickey and the Princesses and there was nobody but the CM near her. I watched for about 5 minutes and she was standing waiting and still nobody going over. I did notice a few other people watching her but nobody seemed sure if she was taking pics or what. So I grabbed the autograph book and camera and ran on over and Miss Practically Perfect in every way Mary Poppins was indeed waiting for people to come over to her:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF9069.jpg
She was admiring my pins and asked which my favourite was. I said Mickey Mouse :) And when I went over to her all the other people that had been watching came over behind me everyone was waiting for someone else to make the first move :lmao:
Before the parade there was one of those high school marching bands out I took pics of course:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF9075.jpg

But, that's ok, he tells me I'm a princess all the time & that he's a good knight there to save me from the bad guy (daddy). Poor Daddy always has to be the bad guy! :lmao:
When we were there in May, there was hardly any wait for Minnie & Mickey. I guess a lot of people still just don't know that's where they are now. :confused3 Which is fine by me, since we have to go see them every trip. :thumbsup2

Nice day at MK! Looks like it must have been a bit crowded though with a 60 min wait on the board for Pooh.
Great use of FP to meet some characters. I don't know why anyone would want to wait 40 min to meet the princesses though when you can get an FP and do something else.

That's funny! I've asked Reid several times if he'd like to go meet the princesses. I usually get 1 of 3 responses:
1. No! Princesses are for girls. I'm a boy!
2. If I mention Belle, he gets a shy look, turns away & just "NO!"
3. He tells me he's afraid to meet Ariel because she might splash him with her tail. :confused3

Is it because people don't know where he is? I thought he was less popular than the princesses and felt sorry. Wanted to give him extra hugs.
You should go alone to the princesses. Or tell him they said they wanted to meet your prince maybe then he'll go?

The new meet and greet is cool and the little shop you come out in is cute although I didn't get any pics but it's full of Mouse themed items only.
We danced in the Magic Kingdom in 2005 and 2008 as part of Irish dancing school. We danced in Tomorrowland I think it was called Galaxtic theatre or something like that I believe it's gone now. But it's such an amazing experience. They told us we were "honoury cast members" for the day and of course you get to see a little bit of backstage. We saw where they had floats stored and where they let off the fireworks. They took us by bus from changing area to the stage area and at stage area first year Chip and Dale came back stage and some of the younger dancers were teaching them how to do the 1,2,3's which is basic irish dance step. It was really cute but we weren't allowed take pics backstage. I think it was 2005 they told us we broke park records because we were first group since Magic Kingdom had opened that managed to fill an outdoor venue and keep it full for the entire duration of the performance. They said most people just wander in and out of the venues like that but not ours and they said we were going to be in disney hall of fame with that. I dunno how true that was but that's what they told us. They also gave us an exclusive t-shirt and pin the first year and our dance teacher a banner and director mickey ears and the second year they gave us a different t-shirt and our dance teach got another set of ears and a performing mickey statue. It was brill. So yeah the marching bands must have so much fun as well :)

And then MOMMA HE'S COMING FOR ME!
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/26_11_201120_01_0005.jpg
He came over and picked up my pins and started shaking his finger at them apparently he didn't like the Tinkerbell ones then he threw the pins back down and Mr. Smee picked them up and dropped them just as quick like they were to hot to touch. It was kinda a funny moment but also a first because we've never had characters interact with us like that in the parade before so was cool. :goodvibes

I'm glad that you were able to figure out that the 3 o'clock parade is at 3 o'clock! :lmao:
I think the t-shirt that was floating about the parks gave us the hint about the parade. You know the one with Goofy on wondering what tiem the parade is at.
It was a fun parade. I was videoing at the time and was like why does he seem to be looking at me and taping his hook at me oh cripes he's getting closer and all ya can hear in background is Momma laughing. :lmao:
Great shot of the Dapper Dans...we have never seen them either.....yet.
They were brill. They sang all Christmas songs for the season. I'd like to hear their halloween set as well. They got some dude out of crowd to sing with them as well and they posed for pics after.

attempt number two at updating I actually typed this last night and deleted it by mistake! I'm sick I'm tired I need a disney trip this is next best thing:
Day 3, Part 7:
By the time the Dapper Dans were over Momma had decided we would stay until park close and get taxi back to the hotel :cheer2: so we headed off towards our next Adventure!
I'm alway trying to find things to do that we haven't done before in order to prove to Momma that there is a point in going to the same place 5 times and we hadn't really done most of the rides in Adventureland so we headed that way.
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2277.jpg
We were crossing that bridge over to Adventureland and I had the video camera out in one hand still because I hadn't put it away after the Dapper Dans. I also had my camera in my hand and was linking arms with Momma on the other side when we came across ULTIMATE RUDE UNDISNEY LIKE GUY! We were walking along minding our own business and he literally plowed right through me so hard he nearly knocked me over, plus nearly knocked the stuff out of my hand and hurt my should in the process. Then I looked back because he had come from nowhere and he was throwing me the worst look imaginable as if I had done something wrong. I was shocked. Momma said I hadn't done anything because I was just walking in a straight line and he just plowed right through me. We weren't going to let the ultimate grump spoil our day though so we continued on towards the Jungle cruise to grab some fast passes.
The we went off to explore the Swiss Family tree house. I don't ever remember doing this and wait time was 0 minutes so win win for me. Momma said we did it in 1995 though! Whatever pics:

I was daring mother to stand in front of the camel but don't think she trusted me:

We then went off to do the new old tiki room:

I loved the singing totem poles:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/IMG_0531.jpg
Finally it was time to use our Jungle Cruise Fast passes. Wait time for the stand by line was 40 minutes. Momma said she liked the idea of fast passes and I had to agree :) We've never done this before so I found the guides jokes fairly amusing and seemed to be the only one on the boat laughing at them. Oh well! Pics:

I think she'd actually seen it spitting before I told her to stand in front of it. That or the wet patch on the ground might have given it away. I did trick her on another ride though (it pays to read about these things in advance :) )

Are photopass usually really slow. I was looking on the order status it said I ordered it on the 8th it was shipped on the 13th and it not here yet. Maybe it's just international postage that's exceptionally slow :confused3 I'm like a child waiting for Christmas though waiting for this cd because i want to start my dvds and I left space in the facebook albums for photopass pics :rotfl:
So I'll treat yee to one more update before crazy starts again. I've been sick all week so didn't go to college and did no college work in my sickness I read Kingdom Keepers II instead :littleangel: So back to work tomorrow and have to edit the radio show and then have to spend next week catching up on the radio shows as I have material for 4 shows now and haven't done one and I also have to write another 2000 words of the first essay that is due up :scared1:
Anyways
Day 3, part 8:
We made it out to the hub on time to grab a good spot and I was literally bouncing with excitement. I'd seen videos of this in May and cried. I'd watched them randomly since then and got excited and cried and couldn't wait to see it for myself. Quick pic while I was waiting:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF9102.jpg
Then the Move it, Shake it street party came along :rotfl: we may have got there a little early for the main event but whatever I finally got a good pic of Minnie in the street party :
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF9107.jpg
I got the Main mouse as well:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF9108.jpg
I noticed that the mice don't get off the floats for the dance party as well which I thought was odd. Anyways once that drove/simmied/danced off it was time for the main event. I asked Momma if she wanted to get closer but she said no so she sat on the back of a bench in the hub but she said she could see anyway I just told her make sure you can see stage and castle she was happy enough. I went a little closer to get video and pics because it was time to light the castle (warning overload of castle photos coming up) :

It was amazing and beautiful and I laughed and cried. The videos are great but there is nothing like seeing it for real. It was just outstanding and I went back to Momma once I had my fill of standing there gobsmacked and normally when I went back to her after these shows or whatever she would look a tad bit bored (prob of the waiting around more so although she doesn't have the same love of disney as i do) but this time she had the biggest smile on her face she thought it was gorgeous. Her comment was that she felt very lucky to have seen the castle lit up like that in person. We stood and gazed in wonder for a while longer before heading on to our next destination.
Next up I thought that was only for MVMCP!

I have to agree with you that the castle is amazing but covered with Christmas lights...it takes my breath away.
I think you should be a princess, too! Why is it that Aurora is not played by very pretty girls...all the other princesses look great. I had to  about the prince...yep looks like they are triplets to me, too!

I'm always going on about disboards to her and trip reports and Disney, Disney, Disney and she gets sick listening to it sometimes. She always says she doesn't see the point in going back to the same place over and over but she goes she has fun and then swears she's never going again! But last two trips I have convinced her that there is lots that we haven't seen especially with Epcot.

Day 3, part 9:
So after gazing at the most magical castle in the world for a while we headed over to Tomorrowland although I continued to crane my neck as far as I could because I just couldn't take my eyes off that amazing castle. We stopped along the way to take pics of these guys:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF9116.jpg
I went to trade a vinlymation and noticed this dude popping out of the ceiling:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF9119.jpg
Then I thought this event was meant to be for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas party only but this was Saturday after Thanksgiving and The Tomorrowland Christmas show was on so we went to watch:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1590.jpg

http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1601.jpg
The singer was overly perky like dipped in sugar fake perky but I liked the characters especially Stitch! My favourite quote from the show "Santa is big snitch who breaks into peoples houses and spies on children." I was taking video of the show as well as pictures and we had my bros video camera with us and apparently it had decided to lie to us because we had been using it on and off during the day but it said all during the show that it had a full battery so I kept taping but then just at the last song it died completely. How can it be full one minute and completely dead next. I was sad because I wanted to tape fireworks and MSEP and Magic Memories and you and from pre-planning the trip this would be the only chance to get MSEP and Wishes on tape this trip. At that point I was so disappointed and Momma's feet were getting so tired we started to talk about leaving earlier than planned!
While deciding we went to the laugh floor. I love that show it's so funny and I love how they pick on random audience members although I always pray it's not me lol:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1608.jpg

http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/IMG_0535.jpg
After the laugh floor Momma wanted some tea (note we hadn't eaten anything since Crystal Palace at lunch time) so we went to Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant for something quick to eat while we tried to decide whether to leave or not. I don't remember if Momma got anything other than tea but I got a childs chicken nugget meal. I had started eating before I remembered to take a picture:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1610.jpg
There was a cookie with it as well:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1611.jpg
We decided to do one more "new" attraction before we made our decision. We wanted to go on the Peoplemover but it had a break down while we were waiting so we hopped out of the line and went to Carousel of Progress instead because we'd never seen that before either:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/IMG_0541.jpg
It was kinda cute but there was a group of teenagers in the back talking and laughing loudly jeering what was being said basically which was kind of disturbing for anyone else trying to watch and listen to what was going on.
After that we headed back towards main street and I took one more pic on the way:

I always love seeing the castle, but especially with the lights. It really is just an incredible sight the way they make that ice effect with all those lights on it.
It looks like you're having a lot of fun, and I'm glad you got to do Carousel of Progress for the first time. I always make time to see it, just because it has been there since the first time I went and it is one of those attractions with Walt's fingerprints all over it. It isn't anything extra special or exciting, but it just "is" Disney.
I'm sorry your momma's feet were getting sore. I hope you didn't have to leave early, but it might be for the best. You wouldn't want to miss things later in the week because she pushed it too far and suffered the rest of the trip.

I was really upset. I normally tape the shows and parades and some of the rides depending and then I make dvd's of the trip with the pictures and videos. Hence the waiting impatiently for photopass I'm dying to get at the dvd and start it but I could only do the first two video bits because then I need to put the photopass pics in and they're not here yet :rotfl: It is brill being able to watch them whenever and I love having the moments like us dancing in Magic Kingdom and Citywalk on tape forever :)

bummer about the video tape. Sometimes my camera does that too. I'll take it somewhere in it dies right away. Luckily I usually have a spare.
I guess it's time for me to go make supper as those nuggets loked tasty and made my tummy growl
The picture cameras I was sorted for this trip I had three :rotfl: and a spare card just in case it was the video camera that I nearly through in the pool several times as I shouted profanities at it and cried over it :rotfl:
I wish i was back in Disney eating those nuggets.
I hear ya on the snap happy with the pictures. I tend to do the same thing at times, although I think you have me beat with 3000 pictures vs my 1800. :rotfl:
The Christmas party looks like a lot of fun!:santa:
I like my pictures lol. Momma thinks I'm crazy taking so many but I don't care :)
That wasn't the Christmas party it was just on at the weekend in Magic Kingdom when we were there. I thought that show was only meant to be on for the Christmas Party though.

Okie two days ago I had loads of work to try catch up on but spent last night editing one show and then college cancelled lectures today so spent all of today editing the rest of what I had for the second show now waiting on whatever was recorded tonight to be sent my way. Did I mention I do work experience in a radio station and that's what all that is for. College wise I have two essays due both with pretty much exactly the same subject but worded differently in the question. One essay is 3000 words the other one is 2500 but I finished the 3000 words of drivel one only have to type it now and will try do the other one tomorrow since it's pretty much the same as the first one. Soooooooooo to celebrate I can do another update yay! (I just can't stay away :rotfl: )
Day 3, Part 10:
So firstly I forgot to mention in the last part when we went for food at Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant. In the Restaurants I'm never sure whether they'd serve me a kids meal since they're for guests under ten or whatever so usually I tell Momma what I want, give her monies and she goes up and orders the food for both of us while I go off and find a seat for us. So we did all that and I was sitting at a nice table near the wall gazing at the pretty castle and a CM came up and went sorry but you can't sit here. I was kinda like sorry what? She went if you don't have food you can't sit down. So I was like oh yeah no worries my Momma is getting the food now she's in the queue you see that lady there (pointing at Momma) see she's just getting the tray now. Cm says sorry but you'll have to get up and wait outside the seating area until she has brought the food over or my boss will give out to me. Confused much  I was too but I decided not to keep up a conversation that was hurting my head it confused me so much so I got up and went over to walk my mother to the seating area since she had the tray at that point!!!
Anyways back to the moment when I left off we were heading towards main street debating on whether we would be able to come back another night to tape the parade and fireworks since the video camera had gone dead. I had done the schedule of where we needed to go everyday in order to see everything or as much as we could and I wasn't sure that we would have another chance to see Wishes and the Parade. Certainly if we were to come back we would have to give up seeing or doing something else so we decided to stay just in case. We got a place on an extremely crowded hub (the park just seemed to get busier and busier as the night went on) and then we just waited. I took pics of the castle to amuse myself it was just so pretty:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2289.jpg
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2293.jpg
Then the Magic, Memories and You started. We'd never seen this before and it looks so much better in Real life than on the You tube videos. My camera didn't really take good pics of it from where we were:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2294.jpg
Momma said she thought she saw us on one side of the castle at one point as well but I didn't see it.
Next was wishes and I just love this show everytime that cute little starlight star bright song starts I want to cry I just love it so much. Again the pics aren't wonderful but whatever:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF9130.jpg
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF9131.jpg
In the middle of wishes though we had a surprise because is it a bird is it a plane no... Tinkerbell flew out of the castle and down towards Tomorrowland. Again was not expecting that so I'd share the picture but it was pretty much a green streak in the sky as I was not prepared for it :rotfl: Again I think this was a special happening for the weekend after Thanksgiving :confused3 Anyways back to the wishes pics my fave part is when the castle has the stars on from Sorcerors Apprentice:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2292.jpg
Then they went and turned the sparkly lights back on and just made it even prettier:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF9137.jpg
and big finale:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF9138.jpg
Next Parade was at 11 so we decided to wait it out since the hub was clearing a bit after wishes and we managed to get a curb to sit on. I watched more of Beethoven on my ipod while I waited and I seem to remember Momma got 40 winks leaning on my shoulder :rotfl: I also took more pics of the pretty castle:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF9120.jpg
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF9140.jpg
It was a little silly with the timing of Magic, Memories and You because if you wanted to get a place for Wishes at 10 you ended up seeing the 9.45 MMAY and then if you waited for the second parade which was at 11 you saw MMAY a second time at 10.35. The pic didn't get any better the second time:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF9124.jpg
and I just noticed all those pictures are castle pics love it :rotfl:
Next up it's all about where you sit.

Tinker bell is a regular. She (or sometimes it's a he) does it every night as long as the winds are good.
I don't think I have seen her though as we usually don't stop to stand for wishes. I think we did it once and were off toe the side where we couldn't see well.
That CM sounds like a witch...with a capital B.

That's frustrating about the CM @ Tomorrowland Terrace. I had the same thing happen to us at Pinocchio Village Haus.

I think I had the same problem as you and food...forgetting to take a picture before I started eating. I never really got my family to buy into the idea of taking pictures of food...they looked at me like I was crazy! Sorry about the seating thing and the CM. I don't understand why it is such an issue about holding a table when you can see the person in line. :confused3
Loving all your pictures of the castle...I have to say I must have taken hundreds between the castle and wishes! Tink does fly most nights...depending on the weather. I learned that when I researched my first trip a couple of years ago! Too cool...I would hate to have her job!

I remembered most times and Momma let me take pics of hers even though she thought it was weird. She knew it was for trip report purposes though. That's what confused me it wasn't busy and Momma was at the counter waiting for them to give her the tray. It wasn't like it was packed with people and she was at the back of the line she was at the tray counter!
I've never seen Tinkerbell fly before. Maybe we were standing in the wrong place before because we usually go at warmer times of the year.

Real life update. Remember I was saying bout our essays and college work. One of the essays said at top 3000 word dissertation and at bottom of page it said 2000. Most of us presumed 3000 words and since it's due next friday at this stage most of us have it written yeah they told us yesterday there was a typo there and it should be 2000 words :headache: They did say if we'd written already then leave it at 3000 words but that's so many words I needn't have stressed over  oh well.
We finished college a bit early today so I had a stroll through some of the shops while I was waiting for train and we have a shop called Pennies over here that sell cheaper clothes than the brand name shops as such but they have character t-shirts (i got loads in there for my hols before) but I found this one today and of course it came home with me:

I also have a question for y'all. I'm thinking of later in the year and how to make a possible Disney related trip. One of the ideas in my head right now is a solo trip but I know I'd feel safer on Disney property than international drive but I also know I'd like to visit Seaworld, Universal and The outlets so does anyone know a cheapish option to get to those places and back from Disney Property?

Only during holiday times or when crowd prediction levels are high do they do that. I haven't ever been there for that, but I have read it on many TRs.

You can take a Mears taxi from your resort to those other places. The cheapest way to go is the Lynx bus. But I wouldn't take the bus, I'd rather pay more and use a taxi.

I thought I might as well try finish Day 3 since I'm avoiding any real work so...
Day 3, Part 11:
When I left off we were waiting for Main Street Electrical Parade to start. Soon after The MMAY ended we started to hear MSEP music and pretty lights started coming towards us from Main Street and since the video camera wasn't working for me I took lots of pictures instead:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF9142.jpg
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF9143.jpg
We were sitting on a curb just in front of the bridge where people would come out of Tomorrowland onto the hub so if you looked left (facing the street) I could get pretty pics like this:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF9146.jpg
but if you looked right (facing the street) I could get prettier pics like this:

I love the way Daisy is dressed in the same Christmas outfit that the CM’s were wearing.
We went into the Emporium after that because I wanted to pick up a new friend for Angel (trip mascot.) OMG it was so busy in the Emporium and some people were pushing past trying to grab things from shelves as if they were going out of business in the morning. Crazy stuff for 11.30 at night! Anyway I managed to squeeze through the masses and get what I wanted before we headed out for the Ferry. I took a pic of the decorations on the way out as well:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF9199.jpg
I seem to remember that since we left the park at 11.30 and it wasn’t closed until 12 we got out slightly ahead of the masses so when we got to the Ferry back to Ticket and Transportation it was just arriving and there wasn’t a huge crowd so we hopped right on. From Ticket and Transportation we got a taxi back to our hotel. I may have finished the Beethoven movie I’d been watching on my ipod in the taxi and once back in the hotel I introduced Angel to his new friend:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/IMG_0548.jpg
Before I introduced myself to the pillows. It was a long fun filled day!
Momma told me after only thing that bothered her was her feet. She didn’t really like the Dapper Dans but liked their instruments and I had noted in my trip diary when I was pre-planning the trip the internet told me that the park would be open until 10 but the internet lied because the park was open until 12 two extra hours of fun.
Next up Dollars burning a hole in your pocket?! No problemo!

Sorry you had to move your seat while waiting for food. I had heard they were doing that, but I thought it was more to make sure that people who brought food into the park didn't use up the seats for guests buying food from counter service places. She should have let you stay with your Mom just getting the food so quickly!
Nice photos of the MSEP! I love how the Castle is in the background! You have given me inspiration for next time!

Thank you. I think I stole the idea off one of Tim's (thats nice) trip reports. I know I saw pics where someone had being standing on the Hub taking parade pics and got the castle in the background and I thought I should look into that for next trip :goodvibes it made for very pretty pictures. I love the Disney Store. The CM's working there now some of them seem to have alot more love for Disney than the ones that were there this time last year.
I was there last night and watching two little girls in front of me got Disney Princess dolls. So the CM put them in seperate bags then showed the little girsl the box of Mickey Confetti telling them that Tinkerbell stopped by last night to leave off some pixie dust and this was Tinkerbells pixie dust. She offered some to both the little girls and told them they had to make a wish and then sprinkle the pixie dust into their bags. It was super cute and just made me smile!
Also Dublin Disney store got an exclusive trading pin. I'm on my way out to dancing at the mo but will take a pic later and try post it.

I love those trees. They change the pictures on the trees every so often and I think I take pics of them everytime I go in there! :goodvibes
In other news I forgot to mention above the photopass cd still has not arrived. I was waiting out the 15-21 working days postage thing I get from slow shippers on ebay but tomorrow is 21 days so me thinks I need to ring photopass. They sent it Friday the 13th wonder if that's why it's not here yet  having said that it'll prob arrive tomorrow now (one can hope)

While I'm here I thought I might as well update on my favourite subject.
Day 4, part 1:
Sunday 27th November 2011
Today was our first "rest" day. I put that in inverted commas because I cannot rest on holidays. I can maybe sit by a pool/swim for an hour or so and then I have to do something. I just can't lie by a pool all day or whatever because I'm thinking of all the things that I could do in a park or whatever else I'm not seeing by "resting" but we had spent two full days in the parks since we arrived so today we lay in until ten (a bit more rest because other days we got up at 6.30am.) Breakfast wasn't to exciting we had bought bits and pieces for the room so I had these for breakfast:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/IMG_0549.jpg
I am actually such a child. They used to have these in Ireland when I was little and I loved them. Was never allowed get them often because they were expensive and Momma deemed them junk and I was to have proper breakfast as mothers do so when I'm in Florida and discovered them like everytime I need a breakfast I get either those or fruit loops :goodvibes
Anyways we took our time getting washed and dressed and then at 12 headed outside the hotel to get iride to Premium Outlets we intended going to mass since it was Sunday so we went to the Outlets at iride stop 42. That is one very good thing about the hotel we were staying at as well, the iride stop is literally right outside their main entrance. We had a kind of funny moment for us anyway today as well because I had small tin of vaseline that I was using on my lips because they were very dry and I convinced myself that I was putting it on while waiting for iride but more on that later.
We got to the Outlets and while I got stuff in Tommy, Guess and Gap the main one and the one you all are probably more interested in hearing about is of course the Disney outlet store. I love this place:

http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/27112011257.jpg
I took pics of some merchandise I prob should have shared these alot sooner :goodvibes
Giant Duffy:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/27112011258.jpg
He was like half the size of me and reduced from 60 dollars to 30 and so would have come home with me except for the fact that he would have needed his own seat on the plane :rotfl:
I thought these dudes were cute as well:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/27112011259.jpg
They were 9.99 from what I remember.
I took this pic when I got back to hotel that evening but it's all the stuff I bought in Disney Outlet that day:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/IMG_0581.jpg
and just to give you idea of prices and a very good excuse to visit the Disney Outlets. Dress at front was 15.99 reduced from 32.95. The Duffy was for my nieces Christmas present so can't share price in case she sees sometime but it was 12 inch one and cheaper than parks. The little snowmouse was 4.99 again reduced I think from 15.99 or something of the sort. The vinylmation I got two the same one for trading mostly because they were marked 8.99 down from 16.99 but when I went to the counter they were 2.25! The Hip lanyard with Stitch pins was the one I found most odd I suppose because in the outlet that was 7.99 and it was the only thing I found in the parks that was in the outlet except in the parks it was 29.95 so how is the outlet selling it so cheaply? Anyways half the Disney store bought we moved on and I took random pics as I went. I think this was Tommy's window but I thought the Christmas Penguin was cute:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/IMG_0550.jpg
We went into the Dressbarn and spent so long in there we missed mass but Momma didn't mind. I found a dress I liked and was going to buy it but noticed a rip in it and it was the only one in my size so they rang the outlets at the other end of international drive and asked them to hold one in my size until the following Wednesday and the manager there said no problem. I thought that was nice of them that they were willing to keep it for us. It did however throw another problem at my planned holiday schedule as I did not plan to go to the other outlets that day some reworking of my plans as going to be in order
We ate at subway at some point during the day as well. I have receipt but no food pics! Once we decided we had seen all the shops we wanted we headed back to the iride and I took pics along the way of course:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/IMG_0554.jpg
I was very excited to see the Turtles. I used to love these dudes when I was little. Think I wanted to be Michaelangelo :rotfl:

Bye bye Premium Outlets see you next time:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/IMG_0555.jpg
Sorry that was a bit word heavy and hazy I apparently didn't feel the need to write much about it in my trip diary.
Next up Irish Liverpool man and Disney at Walgreens

I think I'll send a search party out for the photopass cd. Praying it arrives tomorrow been watching the post like a hawk since last week.
Those marshmallows are the best. I love them. You'd think they'd still sell them over here what with the little leprechaun on them.
The Disney Outlet is the best shop in the outlets :goodvibes We love our shopping at outlets though because all the designer clothes are so much cheaper in America. Like I get jeans in Tommy over there for like 20 dollars the same or similar jeans in Tommy over here would be approx 200 dollars. It's crazy difference like so we fill our cases coming home :rotfl:

What great bargins you found out the outlet...I am not much of a shopper so outlets never seem to lure me and when I do go I never find bargins like you! Dress Barn is one of my favorite stores!
What a great deal on the large Duffy...although his own plane ticket would make him a really expensive friend!

Good luck with Photopass. I just had to deal with them on a customer service situation that took them a few weeks to resolve. It wasn't fun.:sad2: I might write in detail about it after I get done with the trip part of my TR.
I hope you enjoy your "rest" day. I completely agree with you though, it isn't very relaxing to just sit around when I'm at Disney World. I can sit around anywhere, if I'm going to spend my money to go to Disney, I want to take full advantage of it!

I want them over here. May get on to Kellogs :rotfl: Ireland is a pretty country but what I would say if you are coming bring warm clothes and more importantly a good raincoat. It rains most of the year and our summer is pretty much a bad Florida winter.

I think the bargains are good for us though because it's so expensive to get all that stuff in Ireland. Momma was going in to Dressbarn I hadn't planned on getting any dress last trip

Well I rang Disney Photopass and i am not impressed at all. This kind of thing completely disappoints me when it comes to Disney and I am not at all incouraged to use photopass EVER again.
Story. I pre-ordered the CD in october for the November trip. Pics were all taken November and December obviously and I then edited them all and ordered the cd the first week in January as I got an email saying the photos were due to expire on the 8th of January.
That's all fine. I FRICKIN ORDERED THE DANG CD BEFORE THE 8TH OF JANUARY and was waiting and waiting and waiting and nothing happening so I looked at my online account and I believe I posted here the same day that I looked online and it said order was processed SHIPPED the 13th so I have been deliberately waiting for 21 days to come because on ebay they say 15-21 working days for orders from U.S. to get to Ireland. All fine today is 21 working days since 13th of January so no cd.
I look at my photopass account today and the order I made in January is gone and it looks as though my last order was the pre-order of the cd. The status on the order is gone as well obviously. So I rang them and they have no record of the CD being ordered at all. NOT FRICKING GOOD ENOUGH. I look in my email and there's nothing there to say they processed it and I look at the credit card statement and nothing on that either but i know I 110% ordered that dang cd on the first week of January because I did it before the photos were due to Expire and I remember it gave me a choice of downloading them or getting the CD and I choose the CD because I wanted to have a copy to hold onto. NOT GOOD ENOUGH and I am so Fricking mad right now!:mad::mad::mad: I do not get how when I know I ordered them did they just completely ignore the order. They've put my pictures back up now but I'm going to just get the download now because I am not taking the chance that they ignore my order for a second time. VERY disappointed in Disney Photopass.

They basically ignored my order I should have copped on when the confirmation email didn't come through when I paid for the postage. I wanted the hard copy of them and tbh with the price of them I would have expected to get that instead I got an unmagical CM telling me they'd no History of my order and that what I was saying couldn't be the truth. :sad2: So bad because I like the photos and the experience to actually get my photos was just extremely unDisneylike

Want to do the update for second half of day 4 so then I can go back and put vid pics and possibly some photopass pics for the first two days. I may even post a pic or two with me in it just for Judy :scared1::goodvibes Anyways:
Day 4, part 2:
So we left the Outlets and got the iride headed back for our hotel or at least in that direction. Please excuse the lack of pictures for now while I tell a little story but on said iride we had one of our eh funnier/random moments from the trip. Coming from stop 42 it's the last iride stop so we had a long way to travel since we were getting off at stop 15 or thereabouts and at that time of day people were leaving work or shopping centres or Seaworld or heading to work for the evening whatever point is the iride was busy. Then at one stop this guy got on and he was obviously a regular the driver knew him anyway and announced to those close enough to hear him that this guy was a fantastic "Irish" singer and sang in an Irish pub on international drive and if we wanted a good night out we should go along and see him perform. Okie and said guy was not a bit shy and was very much putting on a notice me performance in the middle of the iride where he was standing. He was talking quite loudly which is where Momma and I spotted the biggest problem but he was telling people whether they wanted to listen or not that he was from Cork in Ireland and had moved to Florida ever so many years ago. We said nothing loud enough for anyone to hear.
So anyway Mr. Performer was mouthing in the middle of the iride and the driver went whatever his name was sing Danny Boy. I love when you sing Danny Boy it's so good. At which point Momma couldn't take the performance anymore and said loud enough for Mr. Performer to hear but to the driver please don't get a Liverpool man to sing an Irish song I'm from Ireland and that man doesn't have a Cork accent he has Liverpool accent. (Liverpool is in England no Ireland for those of you who may not know this side of the Ocean very well) Mr. Performer then decided to tell whoever was near him he was originally from Liverpool but had moved to Cork when he was young. He then went silent til we left the iride. It was funny though :rotfl:
If you recall then from part 1, I mentioned I thought I lost my vaseline that I was using as lip balm. For some reason my lips were really dry and I was not going to live without that vaseline on that day anyway so we decided on the way back to the hotel that we would get off the iride at Walgreens to see if I could find more there and then walk down to see if by some miracle the tin was still under the seat at the iride stop
So into Walgreens we went and I found Disney stuff so I took pics of course:

I need these:

http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/IMG_0595.jpg
That cookie there was the Minnie one I got and a Mickey one and they were nearly the same as the ones they were selling in the parks at the time except in the parks they were 3.95 in Walgreens they were .99c. I got something for my lips that wasn't vaseline but it would do and I also got Christmas themed M&M's. I thought the wrapper was cute enough to warrent a picture:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/IMG_0584.jpg
Purchases in hand we left Walgreens and walked down towards the hotel so we could check the iride stop for my vaseline. I was very upset over losing it. I took pics on the way down the road as well. I don't know why but I was suprised when I saw Christmas Decorations on International drive. Kind of like the airport I just wasn't expecting to see them:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/IMG_0570.jpg
I love the big light up chips (or fries? We call them chips over here. When I ask for a plate of chips in Florida I get a plate of crisps.) on the side of McDonalds:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/IMG_0571.jpg
This was my favourite decoration:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/IMG_0572.jpg
A palm tree and a Christmas present because palm trees are the first tree you think of when you think of Christmas :lmao: The vaseline wasn't at the iride stop we had used that morning either :sad2:
We got back to the hotel pretty early that night compared to other nights anyway and we both needed it at that stage because our feet were starting to feel all the walking plus we had another fun filled day planned for the next day. What was the first thing I saw when I went into the bathroom?!
Sitting underneath the mirror looking up at me was my lost tin of vaseline that I'd been so upset about losing :rotfl:
Next up Where are all the people?

Sorry about the photopass...my only issue was that the most important pictures of the WHOLE trip my ds2 meeting Lightning McQueen were lost (thank goodness I took my own pictures) and that in MOST of the family pictures my face is half hidden by my ds1, you would think the photographer would have seen this in the lense and fixed it!
I have not gotten my photopass CD yet, but the lady who did the share is busy with mardi gras, so I am not too worried.
Don't you hate when you lose something and then find it in the most obvious place? Happens to me all the time!
I can't believe your mom said something about the "Danny Boy" singer. :rotfl: Too funny! I bet it will be awhile before he gets up and sings on the iride again.
I really wish you could find Disney goodies at other Walmarts like that.

It really is a pity because they do take some good pics. With mine there was some blurry pics and later on in the trip on character isn't even looking at the camera when the photographer is taking the pic as in he's looking off to the side and has his body twisted that way as well. You'd think the photographer would have waited until all characters were looking at the camera but no :confused3 I always get someone to take the same pics with my camera though just in case!
Don't you hate when you lose something and then find it in the most obvious place? Happens to me all the time!

It had to have been annoying her though because she wouldn't usually do that unless the person was really really annoying her.

I know I'm not really happy about that. I'm wondering if there's price difference between downloading as opposed to the cd because it doesn't really seem fair to have them at the same price and I pre-paid for the cd not download!
Don't fret yet. Did you print out your orders and confirmations? Remember I had problems with my last order. None of the MK pictures were on the cd. I also had problems with my first cd order too, with the computer. Both times I called and wonderful cm helped me and resolved the issue. They can retrieve old pictures. Did you call photopass?
I rang them and they activated the photos again but all but told me I was lying about placing the order at the start of january. Everything from their computer systems are highly automated to it just wasn't possible. It frickin was possible i did order them and it did go missing somewhere in their automated system. I downloaded the pics instead of ordering the cd when they reactivated them because I'm not taking the chance they lose the order again and take another month to send them to me! Not really happy though because I pre-paid for the cd!
Our walgreens isn't Disney either. And I'm close to Disney, but I guess not close enough, lol. For stocking stuffers and stuff, we head to the Walgreen's nearest to Cross Roads. They have Disney stuff there!
That was a Walgreens on international drive so I suppose they have to have Disney and universal stuff and the likes because it's so close to all the hotels.

Just sharing a few random edits from photopass pics for Animal Kingdom day and a few pics I took off the videos and stories they reminded me of!
Photopass first. In corner of one of the pics I noticed Stitch was driving the train:

he was carrying the monkey with the Santa hat and stopped in front of me and was making Monkey noises to the child beside me when I turned the camera on him. He looked at camera going oh hello and then looked through lens as if searching and went "You have a very nice sitting room."
There was another CM came over to a child beside me and the child had a Nala but only Nala's head was sticking out of the bag. The CM asked the child if she only bought the head and not the rest of the body. :lmao:

Yeah I saved them all to the computer and then put them on disk. I just don't really understand it because if you pre pay for photopass cd why are you not getting a cd but getting an option to download. Is it the same price to download as to buy a cd for example if you didn't pre order but just bought when you came back from your trip.

I only spotted it on my video don't think I saw it on the day either. On the video I'm focusing on the side of his car as well instead of him and I also didn't notice til the video the side of his car had different character themed christmas stockings there was stitch and lilo and others. That might be in my pic on the parade but I didn't really notice them before :goodvibes

Okie so I won't have video pics for Magic Kingdom for a while so I'll just continue with this:
Day 5, part 1:
Monday 28th November 2011
Today we got up early and Momma found Minnie and Mickey had left her a note and a present:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/pickapearl.png
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/IMG_0227.jpg
It was an early Christmas present from me :) After all the excitement of a suprise present we caught our usual blue/white bus (we called it that ever since the first day and for the rest of our trip) at 8.30 to DISNEY!
The blue/white bus drops us at Epcot bus park which was handy that day because we were going to Epcot for the day so by 9 ish we were seeing:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF9211.jpg
and shortly after admiring the pretty entrance, toparies and our favourite giant golf ball:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1641.jpg
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1644.jpg
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1645.jpg
This one was a crop from a photopass:

Monorail flying by I'm try to watch photos I seem to have got alot of monorail pics and different colour in each one I'm wondering if I got them all:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1646.jpg
Back to the toparies and golf ball:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1647.jpg
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1650.jpg
We eventually actually went past the Golf Ball and into the first shop that we saw lol I think we're just automatically attracted to them. Either that or we were looking for something in particular I don't remember anyways I saw this cute little Mickey on top of an Xmas ornament and he wanted his picture taken:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1653.jpg
We strolled further into Epcot and I of course took pics along the way:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1655.jpg
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1656.jpg
We then decided to go to Mouse Gear to search for a new friend for Angel and use one of our 20% off vouchers that we'd gotten in Magic Kingdom. It was soooooooooo quiet in Mouse Gear I think we were like the only people there besides the CM's. Because the bus drops us at Epcot bus park we were in Epcot by 9.10. We missed rope drop but the park seemed very quiet as we were strolling around. Anyways I took pics as we wandered around Mouse Gear:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1657.jpg
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1658.jpg
I eventually bought the hoodie on that display.
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1661.jpg
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1662.jpg
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/SAM_1663.jpg
We left without a new friend for Angel because they didn't have the one I wanted but back outside and there was more photo opportunities for the snap happy photographer:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2296.jpg

http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2305.jpg
After that we headed in the direction of some rides.

I think it was the same price for either the digital download or the cd. I went with the cd. Pre-order with discount on either is $99.99, to buy it after the trip instead of as a pre-order it's $149.99.

I have some of those in photobucket now. I'll post them after the weekend. I'm going to visit my baby nieces this weekend (they not really babies at 10 and 13 but they still my baby nieces even if the 13 year old is taller than me :rotfl: ) The pick a pearl was another one of those things I wanted to show Mam we'd never seen before plus I wanted to do something different for her for Christmas.

I love Christmas in Disney World. I think the CD is probably worth 99.99 dollars more than downloading them yourself. It's all a bit expensive though considering the mistakes they make. Last year they put one of the pics in my photobook crooked. Good job the pictures are so nice!

I was out and about during the week and found this really cute St. Patricks day card which needed a pic:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/16022012412.jpg
Then last weekend I went to England to visit my sister and two nieces. Saturday one of the girlies was going to a concert so we had a quiet day and just hung around the house mostly. Sunday was the same although DN10 and DS and I went to see The Muppets. I went again even though I saw it in Florida in December but it's brill :) Momma and DN13 went to see Woman in Black. Then Monday the girlies had school so Momma and I went shopping for a while and of course went to:

They had Muppets in the window:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/20022012466.jpg
I was raging because there was this really cool looking cart that was meant to look like it was made from acorns, wood and leaves like the fairies made it and it was full of Tinkerbell stuff and I took a pic to show y'all but my crappy phone decided not to save the photo. It did save the pic of the front of a super cool Muppets Notebook:

Day 5, part 2:
So when I left you we were about to head off in the direction of some rides and a whole lot of firsts because most of these rides we have never actually done before  Our first stop and new experience was to visit a cute purple dragon called Figment. Ride was a walk on and I’m pretty sure we were the only people on the ride at the time we went. Pics:
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2307.jpg

http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc125/petalsdance/Florida2011/DSCF2314.jpg
We also learnt a lesson on that ride that it pays to read ahead. I had been reading FreezinRafiki’s trip report so knew about a certain stink room and when I copped what was actually going on in the ride once it got to the stink room I held my nose. Momma saw me doing this and I hit her hand off her nose going no leave it down. So then Figment let out his stink and Momma went YOU’RE A BEE WITH AN ITCH! :lmao:
After exploring ImageWorks for a bit we then went in to see Captain EO. We’d never seen this before either:

It was ok. I don’t think we’ll rush to it again but it was interesting to see once. We also heard a man giving out to a lady before we went in about a show with Michael Jackson being included in a Disney park after all he is supposed to have done. I was pretty much thinking oh just get over it and stop grumping, YOU’RE IN DISNEY WHO CARES ABOUT ANYTHING ELSE! Maybe that’s just me though :confused3
Anyways we explored the shop for a few mins. I took pics (shock horror: )

The Tink cart was really cute
I liked the Movie even the second time. Second time I was anticipating what was coming up but it was nice to introduce the niece to the Muppets and my DS laughed alot at the cheesiness of it. I've now got two of the songs stuck in my head. :lmao:
You might notice as I go on in the trip report I had a thing for the Christmas trees so if I saw tree I took pic :) Plus figment tree was purple my fave colour so win win :)
I saw Captain EO for the first time in December and I have to agree with you - it was OK - I'm glad I saw it but I definitely won't be running back to see it anytime soon. :rotfl:
Love your Figment pictures. glad you decided to update instead of studying! ;)

I love Figment! So glad you got to experience it.
I have not done Captain EO. I just feel like I'd be wasting my precious park time but maybe it's worth it doing once. :confused3
