I'm in Orlando for a conference and leave tomorrow. My wife sent me down here with a bunch of Lanyard Series pins she got when we were here in May (Series I, II, and maybe III). She wants me to trade them for more current Lanyard series pins (I even have a photo list). She's been trying to trade online, but not a lot of interest.
I was at Downtown Disney last night at the new Pin Trading building, and all of a sudden I see her most desired pin on one of the orange vests, the Tinkerbell topiary! But I've left my bag of her pins in the car. So I quickly try and grab a normal pin to see if I can pay and get back to the person in time. I'm trying not to take my eye off the person, but while I'm grabbing a pin, someone else steps in and takes it!!!
I made the even bigger mistake of telling my wife that I at least saw it, but the silence that greeted me told me that I might not be welcome back home without it.
Is there anyone out here who would be willing to meet me tonight and save my marriage? Or does anyone have any immediate advice on what I could do?
