me & my friends want to go trick or treating, but the problem is that, well, we're 18-20. if you had a bunch of college age kids come to your door, dressed in costumes, who were polite, what would you think? would you refuse to give candy?

:D

We are BIG into Halloween at our house!!
If Teenagers come to the house (older teenagers) adn they are not really dressed, I tell them "no candy for you" lol :)

I give candy out to anyone who comes to my door. Actually I like the older "kids" as I think it takes a lot to go out and do that. Although if your costumes are lame I give less.

I had some older kids come to my door once and they weren't dressed in any costumes. I told them they had to be some kind of character or they weren't getting any candy.

You should have seen these 4 big kids trying to think of some way to get some candy.

They finally decided they were dressed as good kids and respectable citizens.

I had to laugh and they got their candy.

I will give candy to anyone in a costume and if they show up without a costume on halloween then they have to sing or dance or recite a poem for their treat. Otherwise, they can just get a job and buy their own candy :)

Remove RMD's house off of trick or treat list

spago -- where i grew up it was not uncommon for seniors in high school to go trick or treating, and i would give candy to anyone who was dressed up and polite. i think to do otherwise would be rude. :)

have fun!

We give candy to anyone dressed up my 14 yr old looks 18-20 and she goes trick or treating. We love Halloween too. We have a 6 ft blow up lighted pumpkin in our yard and webs all over our house and a fog machine which is not working correctly  The kids are already asking my DD is your mom and dad having fog again. They think it's so cool and some parents come up just to say they like our house. Coem to my house I'll give you candy. too:D

I'd give you candy. But then I'd close the door and wonder what 18-20 year olds were doing trick or treating. I even give to the kids not in costume. Those are the ones I'm afraid will samsh your pumpkins if you don't.

Don't any of you have a little sister/brother, niece/nephew that you could take as a cover?

Spago...take the commuter rail out to our house. You'll have your choice of whoopie cushions, temporary tatoos, body jewelry, bubbles, eye poppers, friendship bracelets, and an assortment of other fun toys.

But get here early because I hear there are a bunch of neighbor kids who are beating it here first for the whoopie cushions.

Of course I would give out candy to you! I really do not care how old you are. In fact, it bothers me when I pass out candy at the Halloween parties at work and the parents pretend that they are trick or treating for their infant child. I would rather they just admit that they are out for the free candy. I do give out extra candy to anyone dressed as Thomas the Tank Engine or a train engineer, just in case you are curious.

I like it when older kids come! If they're at
the end of the time-they get the rest of my
candy so I don't eat it!
