Added cost per point of closing costs buying resale?

I'm trying to figure an estimate of the added cost per point of buying resale vs. buying through Disney. How does this sound? I took $450 (an estimate of the closing costs? $400-$500 regardless of the # of points?), then divided by the number of points I was considering. For example, for a little 25 point contract, the added cost of closing would be roughly $18 per point, but for a contract of 150 points, the added cost of closing would be only $3 per point. I realize there are other factors to consider-like the # of points which are banked or borrowed, and we're assuming, like I said, that closing costs are set regardless of the # of points. How does all this sound? Please correct me if I don't have it right.

There is some variability based on size but yes it is mostly fixed. My 60 Point resale closing costs were a little lower than your estimate. They were $375 (about 6.75 per point). That seems to be about the low end. When I bid on a 50 point contract closing costs were going to be the same.

We were recently looking at a HH 80 point resale. They were asking $63 per point, with an additional $375 in closing costs. We decided against it and bought directly through Disney.
