Hello Everyone!

For those of you that read my PTR, I'm glad you're here! Sorry it took so long for me to get started on this thing. It's been a little bit crazy back in the real world. I'll update you on that shortly. For all of those that are just joining in, :welcome:

Here we are

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050437.jpg

That's me, Christina, and my new husband, Matt.

We were married on September, 23 2011 at a place called the Hayloft in Pennsylvania. I'll let you know all about that, and of course, there are tons of pictures I can't wait to show you. Then I promise I'll get on to the disney stuff.

We spent 9 magical days at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. I thought that this was the perfect length of time. We got to enjoy each park several times, and we ate so much delicious food that I gained a couple of pounds despite walking about 10 miles a day  After Disney we went over to Universal and stayed at the Royal Pacific Resort. We visited both of their theme parks as well as Sea World and Discovery Cove. I might add some of that to the end of this report, or if I'm up for it I might just have a second trip report down on the universal section of these message boards. I'll make sure to post a link if you'd like to check that out later.

Here's a little sneak peak of what's to come...

Our favorite park

Our favorite meal

.....

Sorry, that's a secret for now. It might just surprise some of you who read the PTR.

Oh and there were a few Dismeets too!

I'm excited to tell you all about it, but first I want to give you a little life update. When we got back from the honeymoon, Matt returned to work and was surprised to learn that his boss just gave his two week's notice. So now, Matt has taken on most of his former boss's responsibilities and is basically taking over that position. No pay raise yet, but it should be coming in the near future. I'm so proud of him! We are also moving to a new apartment come December. It is a lot nicer than the place we have now, and it just feels homier. It is within walking distance of Matt's job which is exciting because we share a car.

Well that's about all the new excitement that's going on in our lives. Next up will be the story of our wedding day!

Alright, sorry it's been awhile (I know I say that a lot) but now I'm ready to get to it. So first I'll start with our wedding because without that we wouldn't have the rest of the Disneymoon to report on

First of all, we got married in Pennsylvania at a place called the Hayloft which is an old barn converted into a wedding reception hall. We arrived in Pennsylvania the night before for the rehearsal dinner. The dinner was really nice. I enjoyed getting to spend a little extra time with relatives I don't see too often and with my new in-laws. I am fortunate because Matt's family is really great and have accepted me into their family with open arms.

Now on the day of the wedding, my girls and I along with my mom and Matt's mom went to the salon to get ready around 9am. The wedding wasn't until 5:30pm, but we wanted to have plenty of time to get gorgeous. Getting our hair and makeup done was fun but I was starting to get super bummed out though because it was rainy and gloomy all day and our wedding was supposed to be held outside :sad1:

My girls and I arrived at the Hayloft around 3:30pm. It was still raining and the sky was covered in gray at this point. My wedding planner comes to see me and tell me that he has some stuff set up inside so that we can have the wedding there since the rain didn't seem like it was letting up. So I go inside to look and there are only like 30 chairs set out for my 75 guests and we can't even get married on the stage because there are no stairs leading up to it. So we would have to stand in front of the stage. This means all of the tables we were going to eat on would be the backdrop of our wedding photos :scared1: At this point I was going to have a meltdown. I had been such and easy going bride, but at this moment I wanted to become a child and stomp my feet until I got to have my wedding outside where I wanted it to be.

Good thing I didn't do that though. I kept my cool. We decided to go get ready because the photographers had arrive. I will interrupt my disgruntled bride story to give you some getting ready photos. By the way, these photos were all taken by the amazing husband and wife team of Brooke Courtney Photography.

Here is my dress

https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/s720x720/392239_273046682736610_100000938426371_794832_1518 814924_n.jpg

Mom zipping up my dress

And my MOH putting on my necklace.

Now after we all got dressed we looked outside. And here is where we catch our first lucky break. It is 4:30 and I can see some blue sky on the horizon. By 5:00pm the whole sky had turned blue and the sun was shining bright! It looked as if it had never rained a drop! The wedding planner comes over as the girls and I are outside taking pictures and says we can still have the wedding outside. All he has to do is wipe down the chairs. At this point I start literally jumping up and down because I am ecstatic :yay::yay::yay:
So now I do get to have everything be the way I had envisioned it.

Here are some pictures of me with my girls outside after the sun came out.

https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/s720x720/309888_273047622736516_100000938426371_794840_4236 22523_n.jpg

That is my best friend in blue, then my sister beside her and Matt's sister on the end.

Here are some of just me

https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/s720x720/321647_273048266069785_100000938426371_794846_2071 221610_n.jpg

And now I want to show you some of my handsome groom getting ready. He wasn't having as nearly as stressful of a day as me because he got to sleep in. Except his friends took him out for his bachelor party the night before because they live all over and weren't able to take him out any time beforehand. I heard all about his adventures later that day. Apparently he hadn't held his liquor too well that night, but he felt alright by the time the wedding started. I think him and his men managed to look pretty dashing despite that fact that some jackets were too big, some pants too short, and some groomsmen still hungover

This is the cabin where they got to get ready. So quaint!

And here are all of the men walking towards the ceremony location.

They look a little confused because they didn't know that wedding was still going to be outside until they got up there

Next post will have pictures of the ceremony and the reception. Stay tuned!

Thank you so much! I was so lucky to have found the location. It was exactly what I was looking for and it didn't cost an arm and a leg.

Thanks! The bouquets turned out so lovely. The woman that owns the property where I had the wedding did all of the flowers. I didn't see them until the day before the wedding so I was a little stressed about it. But then she brought in the bouquets to show me and I loved them so much. She did such a great job!

I love your dress !! And your bouquets were just gorgeous !! Can't wait to see more !!

Thank you! I just couldn't get enough of ivory lace dresses, so when I found that one I snatched it right up.

I see that you are heading to Disney in a few days! Have lots of fun! I'm jealous haha.

Alright, it's about time for me to give another update. Sorry it has been awhile again. We just recently moved to a new apartment, and I just got connected back to the internet today.

So I'd like to share a little more about the wedding then I'll get on with the good Disney stuff.

Our ceremony went off without a hitch, and before we knew it we were officially husband and wife. Here are a few pictures from the ceremony.

After the ceremony, we all went to the barn for dinner, dancing, and fun with a photobooth.

Here is the stage where the wedding party and our parents sat.

This is our guest book tree. We had different colors of ink for people to dip their thumbs into. Then they would put an imprint onto the tree, like a leaf, and sign their name. We have it hanging in our living room now.

And of course here is the first dance, the father daughter dance, and the mother son dance.

Oh and here is one of my grandma and grandpa during the anniversary dance. They were the last ones standing because they have been married 61 years. I just think they look so adorable here. I hope my husband and I are still as in love as they are when we grow old.

https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/s720x720/313605_273078196066792_100000938426371_795301_1234 376112_n.jpg

So I mentioned there was a photo booth. Here are some hilarious pictures we took.

This is us with our photographers. You can tell they like to have fun.

As you can see, we had a good time acting like fools in the photo booth.

The reception was a lot of fun. I didn't care too much for the dj. We had to go with the one the Hayloft provided. But that wasn't a big deal at all because everyone was more interested in hanging out with each other and taking pictures in the photo booth than they were dancing. The day just went by sooo fast. So many people had told me that, but I didn't realized just how quick it was until after it was all over. I wish I would have had more time to talk more to people I don't see often, but I really can't complain much. The day just felt perfect. It was definitely the best day of my life so far. I can't wait to share those memories with our future children.

Now to finish off this post I'd like to show you some of my favorite pictures of me with my new husband.

I love the gazebo! You had a wonderfully themed wedding, love your reception space. I'm not much into dancing either, especially when there's fun things like photobooths around!

Congrats on the new apartment! I love moving to a new space but I hate the actual moving process. We painted a lot in our current apartment (with permission, it was really grungy in here) and I'm dreading the day when I have to paint over navy blue with white paint!

It is lovely to see folks looking so happy

Aww thank you!

Your wedding was so beautiful! I love the rustic theme! That tree guestbook is such a great idea! :thumbsup2 And your pictures are amazing, especially the last few!

Thank you! I found the tree guestbook on etsy and just had to have one. I love that it's hanging in our living room so that we can see it everyday. I'm so pleased with how the photos turned out.

I do love our new place, but I sure do hate packing and unpacking. There's still stuff in boxes .

Thank you! After a year of planning, it was so nice to see it all finally come together. Like everyone warned me, it went by sooo fast though. I'm really glad we got a lot of good pictures and a good deal on the photobooth because it was the life of the party.

Okay finally time to move on to the Disney portion of the trip report. :woohoo:

So the next day after the wedding we were up early to get ready to head to the airport. Our flight was at 12:40pm so we wanted to leave by 9 to get to the airport that was 2 hours away. However, I had forgotten my camera at the salon the day before so we had to make a detour to get it since it was my only way of taking pictures on the honeymoon. This took almost an hour, so I was a little worried at this point. We were cutting it close, and to make matters worse, my friend who was driving us refuses to go a mile over the speed limit. Now I know speeding is illegal, but I totally would have paid for her ticket, haha.

So here's how the trip to the airport goes. It is almost 11:30 and we are still 20 mintues away from the airport :scared1:. Then the gas light comes on in my friend's rental car :scared1:. So we make the quickest gas station stop ever. She puts one gallon of gas in the car and we're back on track. We get to the airport and it's almost noon :scared1:. We hurry up and grab out luggage out of the car and say our quick goodbyes. Good thing curbside check-in was up and running. They got our bags checked quickly and printed our boarding passes for us. :yay: But then we realized Matt had forgotten his phone in my friend's car :scared1:. I called her and she came right back. Alright so now it's almost 15 after. We rush into the airport. The line for security was pretty long :scared1:. But wait, we look and see an empty line marked "flyers with one item" and we both only have one item :yay:. We breeze through security and get to the tram. One was waiting right there so we hop on :yay:. We get to the terminal and find our gate. It is like 12:30 at this point. They are just starting to board group B. Luckily I had done early bird check-in so we were boarding group A. We show the attendant our boarding passes and get right onto the plane. And the best part is that I got to have a window seat!:woohoo:

So that was my crazy first experience at an airport. What a way to start off the trip. I joked that the luck of the Irish was on my side now since I had just married into an Irish family. We were two for two now. No rain during our wedding ceremony and no missed flight :yay:

Alright, after boarding, the flight left pretty much on time. Flying for the first time was really cool. I loved staring out the window. The anticipation was getting to me even though the flight was only about 2 hours long . We got to fly over the ocean a little. I thought it was neat to look down and only see blue. Then soon we were landing in Orlando! Sorry I don't have any pictures from the flight. They are on a different memory card that I misplaced during the move.

So we arrive at the airport, and to my surprise I'm not in a huge hurry to get going. We were both hungry so we decided to grab a bite to eat. It was nice to see the inside of the airport since I had to rush through the last one . After eating, I was definitely ready to go find my magical bus to take me to the most magical place on earth. We got a little turned around (we should have paid more attention to the signs) but we eventually found the right place. Before we new it we were ready to board one of these.

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050001.jpg

It was fun to ride the magical express bus. I liked the movie. It made me more excited. Then, soon we saw the iconic sign.

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050002.jpg

We were the first resort to get dropped off. I didn't get a good picture of us pulling into Coronado Springs. I really didn't take too many pictures of the resort either, but most of you guys know what it looks like. I thought it was just beautiful.

We got in line to check-in. We did wait a bit, but we didn't mind. We didn't have anything planned for that night. The CM who checked us in was named Daniel. He was so nice and joked with us a little bit. It was a good first experience of the resort and the trip. I guess our reservation didn't mention that we were on our honeymoon so I hinted at it. Daniel was like "Well, I will be right back." It was about 5 minutes later and he came back with balloons and "Happily Ever After" buttons. Now we were on our way to our room. We got a really great room too! It was a king room in Casitas 3 on the bottom floor that had a view of the lake! Here is a picture I took of our view at sunrise the next morning.

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050006.jpg

I put the balloons in our room window for a little decoration.

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050013.jpg

I liked the location. It was close to bus stop 2 (the first one to be picked up) and close to the main building. It was further away from the pool but we didn't mind walking. I didn't think the resort was too big for us. I could see how people would think it was too big though, especially if they had little children in tow.

So now we get to the most uneventful part of my trip report . We didn't really have any plans for our first night, so we just took it really easy. Well part of the reason we didn't go anywhere was because our luggage took a while to arrive. It was about 2 1/2 to 3 hours. We just decided we would walk around the entire resort. We stopped to look at the pool area. Then we relaxed in a hammock for a while. We were just glad to be in such a beautiful place with each other and were looking forward to the next two weeks we would be spending having tons of fun together. After relaxing, we decided just to pick up some food from the pepper market and take it back to the room. I got a quesadilla which was huge and delicious and Matt got the Steak Rancheros which was also huge and yummy. (Sorry no food porn yet, but it is coming :)) There was a West Virginia University college football game on that night, and we are both alumni and wanted to watch it. We thought about heading over to EPSN club, but it looked like rain and we thought it would be a hassle to catch a bus back to the resort since there were no direct routes. So we just watched it in the room. Then we realized how tired we were, and decided to head to bed fairly early. Besides we wanted to be fully refreshed. We planned to go full throttle for the next few days.

Don't worry, we actually do stuff, lots of stuff over the next 9 days in the World.

Next up we go to the Animal Kingdom and have a Dismeet :wizard:

First Full Day! Sunday, September 25th

Alright people I'm back. I hope you are still here. Sorry I've been a bad DISer and haven't updated forever. But for those of you who still want to hear about my trip...here goes.

So the first park we visited on our honeymoon was

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050811.jpg

Might seem like the least likely place to start the vacation, but Matt was excited because this was the only park he had never been to before. And me being the disney geek I am was excited to play tour guide for the day. It was very easy to get a bus that morning. Plus we were close to bus stop 2 (which is the first to get picked up). We made it to Animal Kingdom just in time for rope drop. We saw the little show with Minnie, Mickey, Donald, Goofy and such dressed in safari gear. Then we were off. Of course our first stop would be this glorious mountain.

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050022.jpg

There was no wait, so we got right on. We were seated in the very front. It was a good first ride, but the front just wasn't fast enough for us. So we got right back on and were seated near the back. We liked that ride better. It was only 9:30 now so we grabbed a fast pass and headed toward my favorite show

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050026.jpg

I just love the lion king. We were super early, but we didn't mind waiting. Since we were early we got a great seat. I also got some pretty good pics with my camera.

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050027.jpg

I love the monkeys!

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050032.jpg

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050036.jpg

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050046.jpg

Since I've waited so long to update, and I was bad and didn't take notes while on my trip, I don't quite remember what order we did stuff in next. But I remember the gist of it. I do remember that the park wasn't crowded that day, so by using fast pass and such we didn't wait more than 10 minutes or so for any rides.

I'm pretty sure we got on Kilimajaro Safari next. I won't bore you with tons of pictures (because I took TONS ) Here is my absolute favorite though. We got to stop and watch the mom and baby elephant take a bath!

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050090.jpg

We walked the Pangani trail and saw the gorillas

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050144.jpg

We then headed to

http://www.themeparkinsider.com/photos/images/DSCF0921.JPG

Matt loooves dinosaurs, so I was excited for him to ride this. He really liked it. I really like this ride, too. I think it's exciting. Then we decided to head over to the Maharajah Jungle Trek to check out these cats

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050165.jpg

And these bats

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050156.jpg

I love tigers, but I think the bats are so cool. I could stare at them for hours.

At some point we watched It's Tough to Be a Bug and of course I had to get this picture.

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050154.jpg

We ate lunch at Flame Tree Barbecue. Sorry, no pictures. But we shared the ribs and the chicken. It was delicious! I was disappointed however to discover that the key lime pie was not there. Instead, it was key lime mousse. It was okay, but had a weird, too sweet green gel on top.

We saw the flights of wonder show. I think it's pretty funny, and we both enjoyed watching all the birds.

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050192.jpg

I know we rode everest at least once or probably twice more. Then we decided to head over to Rafiki's Planet Watch because neither of us had ever been over there before. Here's another time we had some luck. It started raining pretty hard after we had boarded the train, but then it died down to a sprinkle when we were let off. So we stayed nice and dry. I swear I have really good luck with my rain timing in Florida.

We met this guy while we were at planet watch

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050196.jpg

But besides a few characters, there wasn't much going on over there. It's probably a place I'd skip next trip unless I knew something was going on.

Now it was nearing closing time, so we decided to head back and get ready for our dinner here

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050199.jpg

We got to Kidani Village pretty early so we decided to go outside and see the savannah. I really like the Animal Kingdom Lodge. I love the theme, and I think it would be so cool to wake up and see zebras and giraffes outside your balcony window in the morning. When we neared our reservation time we checked in and were seated soon. We started with drinks and the bread appetizer.

Matt got this drink that changes colors.

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050213-1.jpg

And I got something with mango and coconut and rum. It was delicious of course. How can you go wrong with that?

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050215.jpg

The bread service was yummy but I failed to take a picture and I forget what dips we got. I do remember that we got the mango chutney and that it wasn't my favorite.

For dinner we both got some dishes that were slow cooked in gravy.
Matt got the shrimp with green curry sauce and the chicken curry. He really liked it.
http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050219.jpg
I got the coconut-curry lamb and the beef short ribs
http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050218.jpg

Unfortunately I wasn't pleased with my dish. It was good, but both dishes tasted exactly the same. I'm not talking very similar, I mean exactly the same. I brought this up to the server and his reply was that the sauce is very similar just the meats are spiced differently. Well my taste buds must not work, or they are just slow cooked in the the same exact gravy even though one is supposed to be coconut-curry lamb and the other beef. Anyone else ever had these two dishes? Were they the same to you? Just curious.

For dessert we shared the chai cream. I thought it was pretty good, but I wasn't wowed. I think I'm just addicted to chocolate, so since it didn't have any I was bias

Dinner wasn't bad, but I wish that there were some more adventurous flavors offered at Sanaa. Just something a little more than beef stew flavored coconut curry lamb.

After we were finished with dinner, we got to experience our first Dismeet! I was looking all night to see if TanzUnited99 and Zaheer were there. It was perfect timing because as we finished up and payed our bill they were seated close by. We went over and talked to them for probably like 20 minutes or so. We only stopped chatting because they got there food and we wanted to let them eat it before it got cold. I loved meeting Tanz and Zaheer. They were both really nice. I love that Tanz and I could have talked about Disney all night because we both love it so much. Matt and Zaheer also hit it off because they both are into soccer/football and hockey. They were so great that they even told us that we were welcome to stay with them if we ever made it over to England. It was great meeting them and making new friends. That's another reason Disney is so great. You can meet so many people from all over and you all have one thing in common. You're at the happiest place on earth having lots of fun!

Here's a picture we got with Tanz and Zaheer

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050224.jpg

All in all it was a great day. We conquered the Animal Kingdom and had a nice meal and made some new friends all on our first day.

Coming up next...we get to go into space!

Day 3 Monday, September 26

Alright, so today we slept in a bit because I wanted to visit the salon. After just one day I had had enough of my hair. It was too hot to wear it down and too heavy to wear it up (it gave me headaches). They didn't have any openings that morning so I scheduled an appointment for Thursday. Then we got on the bus and headed toward

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1060018.jpg

EPCOT!

Our goal of the day is to cover all of future world and ride all of the rides. Since we arrived late we headed straight for

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050227.jpg

The stand-by line wasn't too long, so we decided just to wait in it instead of grabbing a fastpass. We asked to wait for a front row seat since I wanted to see what it was like. We both enjoyed the ride but agreed it is just a once a day kind of ride for us.

Now it was time to move on to my favorite and definitely Matt's favorite

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050228.jpg

Mission Space! :yay:

Matt loves all things that have to do with space exploration. We both think this ride is thrilling and tons of fun. We really get into it and act like kids in there. The other people that get put with us probably think we're nuts.

We grabbed fastpasses for Test Track after our journey into space. Then I took Matt into Club Cool because somehow he'd never been there before. I tried my hardest to keep quiet about the Beverly and I was ready with my camera to capture the face.

Here it is...
http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050235.jpg

Yep, that weirdo liked it :lmao: I was disappointed. So I decided to give it another chance. And for your gratification here is my Beverly face

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050240.jpg

After that we wondered around Mouse Gears for a little while. Matt tried on this hat...too funny

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050243.jpg

We rode test track. We both like it, but I am glad it's getting an update. After that we explored innoventions for a little while. Of course we went on Sum of All Thrills
http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050249.jpg

We chose the jet fighter and tried our best to make it as intense as possible. It was a fun ride, but not as good as real roller coasters. Next, we had a lot of fun playing The Great Piggy Bank Adventure

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050250.jpg

I think now we went over and rode Ellen's Energy Adventure. I'm sorry, but what a snooze fest. I think Ellen is funny (I like cheesy jokes) but man that ride was long. Oh well it was a nice rest. Plus it started raining while we were in there, so we missed the downpour. (I told you I'm lucky with rain) It was still drizzling, but not too bad. We decided to hop on Spaceship Earth. Here is a photo I took of our future.

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050251.jpg

Now it was about time to head over to The Seas. We went on the Nemo ride. I just think it is sooo cute. We also explored the aquarium for a little while. I really loooove aquariums. Then it was time for our reservation at Coral Reef!
And....we got a seat by the tank! :woohoo:

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050261.jpg

That's our sea turtle friend who was there the whole meal. Sorry I don't have any pictures of the food from this meal, but I remember what we ate because it was soooo good.

For starters we shared the appetizer for two. I really enjoyed the crab cake and the shrimp was delicious (and I don't usually eat shrimp). The lobster soup was alright. There was a strange taste to it. For my meal I got the pan-seared sustainable catch which was a fish called corvina that day. I had never heard of it, but boy was it delicious! It was white, firm and flaky. It was served over mushroom risotto with little bitty bay scallops. The risotto was sooo good! Creamy, smoky and salty, yum! Matt had the Mahi Mahi and he really liked it.

Then we experienced a little touch of magic from our server. She brought us out a complimentary Chocolate Wave! It was very good.

After dinner we headed into the World Showcase. We explored some of the shops.

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050305.jpg

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050306.jpg

Then we grabbed some adult slushies from the stand in Paris and found a spot to watch the fireworks. At some point beforehand we purchased an umbrella because it was still raining. I didn't mind the rain though cuz the fireworks still go on. I got this cool shot of everyone watching the fireworks.

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050311.jpg

I love fireworks and Illuminations never disappoints. It stopped raining during the fireworks, so we decided to look for Matt's aunt and uncle on the Leave a Legacy stones in front of Spaceship Earth. It took a little while to find them because the stones weren't numbered too well, but we eventually did. I thought it was exciting that someone we knew had there picture there.

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050317.jpg

Now it was time to head back "home" and get some sleep.

Next up...We're first in line!

Great updates! I am glad your hubby seemed to like AK! I agree.... The back of Everest is the best way to ride! Although, I like to take first timers on the front because it is slightly less intense and I don't know how they will react!

Everest was definitely one of our favorite rides. Next time we go we are going to ride it over and over again! I've been to Coral Reef twice and I love it both times. We won't be going back to it next trip because we want to try some new places, but I'll definitely go back to it in the future.

The end is probably my favorite part of Spaceship Earth now just for the fact of seeing how stupid we can look by making faces. Making faces for all of the ride cameras kind of became a trend on the trip.

Yay, you are back. Don't leave us hanging this time .... lol. Looking forward to more !!!

:sad2:I'm terrible at updating this thing. Glad you are still reading along. I need to get this thing back on track.

I have been reading along, but now i have time to come back to the DIS! Your wedding was STUNNING! you looked AMAZING!!!
Excited to be reading along! xo <3

Aww Thank you sooo much! Glad you are back and that you had an amazing wedding and honeymoon!

Hey hope you are both well. I'm slowly catching up with all the reports I was following :goodvibes

Love the park days and starting at AK is the best way! You took some great pics :thumbsup2

A shame that your food choice at Sanaa let you down - it was great meeting you guys too and like you said we could've chatted for longer if our food hadn't arrived!

Lol at Matt actually liking Beverly!!!

Hey Tanz! Yeah, I wanted to like Sanaa a lot, but it wasn't too memorable for me. I wouldn't mind trying it again though. I would order different things if I did though. I somehow just knew that Matt would like the Beverly. He's weird like that

I've got some great news to share.....

We're Going Back To Disney World!!!

:love::love::love::love::love::love::love:

After much begging and coercion on my part and sweetness and love for me on my husband's part, we decided to revisit Disney World for our first anniversary. Oh and a shout out to the IRS for the tax refund that will be funding this trip.

So here's what I've got so far

Dates: September 23 - September 28
Resort: POP Century (so excited to stay here)
Dining: Free dining promotion plus upgrade to the regular dining plan

I'll most likely start a PTR in the future, but first I should get further along with this puppy. I don't want to totally neglect it anymore.

Expect an update later tonight. For now I will leave you with my new ticker. Woooo! :cool1:

Thanks Tanz! I wish you were going to be there too! It would be fun to hang out in disney world. We'll have to make sure to plan lots more trips so that we'll run into each other

I keep wanting to start a PTR, but I think I better work on this TR a little more before focusing on a new PTR. I'll probably start it soon though because I'll be able to make ADRs really soon!

Time to go to Hollywood! Disney style, of course!

So since we went to bed pretty early last night, we were able to be up and at 'em by 6:30 today. The reason: I wanted to be at the bus stop early this morning so we would be first in line at DHS! Well this is what our bus looked like

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050319.jpg

Oh and what's this?

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050321.jpg

Well that's us first in line at the turnstiles! So mission accomplished. We were there at 8:05 or something ridiculous like that. (Yes I waited a full hour to be first in line during the stampede) I'm surprised that Matt was game for my little plan, but time passed pretty quickly. Here's another pick of the emptiness.

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050320.jpg

At about 8:45 they started letting us in through the turnstiles. We were first at the red rope.

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050322.jpg

But when they finally unleashed us all we were overpowered and fell back a little. That's okay though because we still managed to grab the first round of passes for TSM and then hop in line to ride. We walked right on our first ride and already were guaranteed another. If you didn't already figure it out, I really like this ride.

The ride was so fun! However, this happened

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050334.jpg

The higher number is Matt's score. Unfortunately this would be a trend throughout the whole trip. I just never could catch him. I suppose I should practice somehow before our next trip. Must...crush....him  I'm too competitive for my own good.

Well after that awesomeness it was off to

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050337.jpg

Matt loves this ride and I do too! We rode standby. After we were done, Matt was like "Let's do it again". So of course I said "sure". After that ride our fastpass window was already open so we grabbed some for Rock N' Roller coaster then headed over to

Star Tours 3D
http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050340.jpg

Okay, so I must admit I have never actually watched Star Wars. :scared1: Shocking I know! But I do know the story because I love the Lego star wars games and have played them all  I was excited to ride the updated ride and I wasn't disappointed. I thought it was soooo much fun! So of course we went on it again. Walked right on both times.

So this was our loop...TSM then Rock N' Rollercoaster then Star Tours...begin again

We did this loop twice with multiple rides on RNR and Star Tours until finally it was time for lunch at

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050349.jpg

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050347.jpg

I think it took a little while to be seated but it wasn't bad because we just sat on the couch in the Writer's Stop until it was our turn. We got to be hitchhikers in another family's car. There was this adorable little boy in front of us that was very interested in what we were doing and wanted to tell us everything about what he was doing too (very loudly). We didn't really mind cuz hey it's disney and we were their hitchhikers after all. I felt bad though because his dad kept apologizing and looking embarrassed. Oh well, it didn't ruin our experience there or anything. It just had me thinking that we'll probably have a kid someday like that. One that has no boundaries and wants to excitedly tell everyone all about what they are doing.

We both ordered burgers and some flavored cokes. While I really liked the atmosphere of the place, I thought the burgers were just so-so. But man were they big. We should have probably shared one. We skipped dessert because we were so stuffed. We did get a congratulatory card from the staff there that said Enjoy your Honeymoon. That was nice. I don't think I'll be in a hurry to eat there again, but I won't cross it off my list either.

After lunch we decided to catch Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular. When they asked for a girl volunteer my hand shot up. It was like an involuntary reaction. And guess what, I was picked! So I got to get into costume and get in on the action

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050359.jpg

My hubby so graciously took pictures of me (after I motioned him to haha). It was really fun participating in the show. We got to pretend like we were shopping, point, gasp, cheer, and fall down

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050360.jpg

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050364.jpg

Then we got free water (Alright!)

After I was done giving the performance of a lifetime, I returned to my seat and got ready to watch my favorite scene. You know, the one where he fights the giant guy and stuff catches on fire. Well folks, that didn't happen. They announced that they were having technical difficulties. Then a few moments later they announced that there would be no scene because the truck that pulls the plane into place wouldn't start. So we just had to leave. That was weird.

But here's where it gets stranger...

We decided to go see this

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050376.jpg

Well during the show, they had to stop a scene because one of the "bad" cars blew an engine. They had to have another car come out and literally push it off the stage area. But it gets worse...during the best scene where everything catches fire and the guy on the motorcycle slides through the burning oil and catches fire too...well nothing caught fire. So it was just a guy sliding off of a motorcycle who still got extinguished even though he wasn't on fire. So bizarre... So they showed us what should have happened up on the big screen. From that point on we decided we shouldn't see anymore shows because obviously we were bad luck

We managed to fit in another ride on TSM because we had collected another set of fastpasses earlier (Woohoo that's 3 rides total) We also did RNR a few more times (5 in all I think) and Star Tours again (twice maybe)

We visited the Animation Academy. We got Minnie Mouse! I thought that it was really fun. Here are our drawings.

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050383.jpg

Not bad huh? But I let Matt know that I thought mine was a little better. (See I told you I was too competitive)

After this is was time to head in to Fantasmic. It was starting in like 20 minutes and the theater was pretty crazy. There was still plenty of room on the ends though. We got a seat way over on the far left.

The water screens were cool

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050395.jpg

And I really liked the float at the end

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050406.jpg

Oh and the things that were supposed to catch fire did

http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd426/disneymoon23/HONEYMOON/P1050403.jpg

So I guess were weren't the ones with all the bad juju after all.

Overall it was a pretty cool show.

I think we had a very successful day at the Studios. But we rode a whole bunch of awesome rides. And for those of you that noticed, yes we were afraid to ride ToT! :rotfl: That is why we did not do that. We just couldn't conjure up the courage on that day...you'll just have to stay tuned to this TR to see if we conquered our fears. (Haha now you're hooked)

Next up...Finally a castle in my sights

I'm joining in, I love a good Disneymoon TR!

You guys had a very sucessful day at DHS. Three rides on TSM, awesome! I can never beat my DH either, so don't feel too bad!

I think it was really neat you were chosen for Indiana Jones, I've always wanted to be, but never had the chance.

Congrats on your next trip and I'm looking forward to reading more!

Wow what an action packed day!!! :thumbsup2 I can't believe how empty the bus and DHS actually was.

Haha that being beat on TSMM and the recurring theme is what happened with me as well...it was so annoying :(

Yeah on being picked for Indiana Jones though can't believe the drama at LMA lol.
